I have just started working on the 1.2.4 update. Everything now works as it did on 1.2.3 - I am currently working on fixing some bugs which occurred in 1.2.3 before releasing the new version. Hopefully I will have this out tonight, otherwise it will be out tomorrow night.

Is there (was there) something wrong with the WE wand selection tool with 1.2.3 compatible version? I have only used it with this release (I'm pretty new SPC user), so I don't know how it worked before. But with this version the position selection seems really weird and buggy. It seem to take several clicks before it takes the pos and then sometimes it seems to bee 1 block off.
Yeah there is, the way the game works with block destruction got changed, which results in the block being destroyed before being sent to the player for an update. This results in the block behind where the wand selected being hit being selected rather than the block you destroyed. This is particularly noticeable in creative, but also affects survival as well. I am working on a fix for it without much luck so far.
OH and the several click thing is something new to WorldEdit, if you select the same block as previously selected then it doesn't keep telling you that you selected the block.
Well, there's simpler ways to do it. There's nothing magical going on after all. The files that are extracted are in the root folder. If the automated process doesn't work you can simply open up the installer, drag all class files into your minecraft.jar and place WorldEdit.jar in the bin folder.
This is the manual install if I'm correct.I tried it but it didn't work that's why I tried the automatic one too but unfortunately for me it didn't work too or I'm just doing something wrong.
I apologize it isn't working but the highest of fives for using Opera. :3
I wont be able to release a patch by tonight. I'll spend a few hours on it tomorrow night and get it released. So for those keen, the update should be out within 24 hours from this post.
HEY, everyone who is new to the forums, be quiet about the updates.
Simo will update when he gets the time to do so. This is a very big and popular mod, and big mods need more time. So be glad that he doesn't have a strict policy like Okushama, who delays updates for an hour every time someone asks. (Not giving you ideas, Simo.)
Hah, you can have Oku's policy, it'll shut people up.
I'm not sure if I reported you yesterday but if I did and your comment is positive I do apologies, I was getting ticked off about these stupid questions and I reported your’s thinking you where being impatient. I do again apologies if it was positive.

Take your time bro, better to have it later and perfect then now and broken. You're doing an awesome job keep it up.

Thank you so much for all of your hard work on this mod - I find it an invaluable tool in my long hours of building!
I do have one question/request, however. Is there a place where you keep an updated listing of all of the commands? The one on the OP doesn't seem to have some of the commands on it. I like to print it out and post it on the wall so that I have it available but I can't find a copy that's 'current'.
Again, thank you for your epicness. I liken you to a shipping container loaded with 55-gallon drums of awesomesauce! Keep up the great work - I'm a 'fan' of SPC (and, a patient one too - you'll get no "Y U NO UPDATEY!" from ME! Lol)
Gives me a black screen! I'm using version 1.2.4 and I DID DELETE META-INF!
:'(
And it gives me a WHITE screen when I use TMI and Modloader with it.
OMG black and white my 2 favorite colors!:D
The reason its not working(obvisly)is because you dont have 1.2.3.and also how the heck did you get a white screen with TMI and modloader and when you dont have them they give you a black screen?Obstical ollisoon
oh thank the lord. ive seen way too many places that say "SPC 1.2.4 download" that ive tried and have failed misserably. im glad to finally know (from the best person to hear it from) that it is still being worked on. Now i dont have to waste my time trying to find it i will be content now until it is back
thanx for makin the mod. excited to use it once again

Take your time. I'd rather you take the time to perfect it, than to have a rushed job of an update.

Edit: Never mind, being myself my brain didn't process the last part. I can wait >_>

Heh, I'm 'new' to the forums but I have the sense (and courtesy) to be patient for updates. They'll come eventually. In the meantime I suggest that those people that're 'unable to wait' for updates STAY ON 1.2.3!! Duh.
I'll have to check out oku's mods/policy -- thanks for the hint.
Wow, you should really learn some manners. It's not as easy as just pressing a button and everything updates. It takes time, and you should be thankful he even updates the mod. I really can't stand disrespectful people like you. It's not his job to update, he does it out of the kindness of his heart. So until you've written an extensive mod and updated it yourself, back off.
