A lot of you seem to be talking about using Punch-a-pic to choose your paintings... maybe I'm not doing it right, but I went and downloaded Punch a Picture Beta 1.5_01 from here: http://www.mediafire...ewx9fs7iy6wftoz
(all it did was modify the pv.class) And I still can't seem to find a way to select my paintings. I place them and they just seem to be random. I might just not know how to use the mod to choose pictures, I guess.
It looked like some people were saying that the extreme edition comes with the Punch a Pic mod, but I had to go get it myself. The only classes modified by the extreme edition were jk.class and fe.class.
Does anyone know how to make it so you can go through all the paintings?
Also, I saw someone talking about something called SPC's /cyclepaintings... I looked around but I see nothing about it. Does anyone know anything about this?

fe.class and jk.class a server files you only need those if you are running a server, the client files for the Xtreme edition are ib.class and pv.class, as you can see punch a pic (pv.class) is included. Punching a painting cycles forwards to the next painting, holding the sneak key down and punching a painting cycles backwards to the previous painting. Hitting a painting with a tool makes it drop.
/cyclepaintings is a command you type in while facing a painting to cycle forwards in the Single player commands mod.

Yes you will need both server and client, and anyone who connects to your server needs the client as well.

sorry to keep posting about this... but I can't seem to get it to work for some reason. I downloaded both the client and server files for the Insane edition, and the client file had the modified pv.class in it, but when I try to cycle through the paintings they just pop off the wall like normal, and the next painting placed is random. I am using an empty inventory slot (my hands) to punch the painting in order to cycle through them, but its not working.
They should work with the most recent version of minecraft, right?
I downloaded the files on the first page of this thread, under the "Updated for Beta 1.5_xx" heading.
I downloaded the 1.6.5 version, but when I tested it in game the pictures were really dark, almost black. It has nothing to do with the actual pictures I used, I tried brightening them.
Any idea of how to fix this?
I assume your using the insane edition, it is corrected now download again.

You need to put the kz.png in your texture pack when you use custom textures and the insane edition is not compatible with the HD patcher (if you use that).

Edit kz.png that is in the zip with an image editor such as gimp, photo shop, paint.net etc...
Zip's now include Punch a Pic, qq.class for clients and kb.class for servers.
