I'm surprised no one has added dinosaurs to this yet. I mean, we have friggin' ogres and wyverns. Why not some dragons too? I wouldn't mind seeing random forest fires due to some ed off red dragon(D&D reference there). Or, you know, running for my life. As it is, the only real pain in the ass mob is the werewolf, and ONLY because I usually don't find gold just sitting around on the surface the first couple nights of gameplay.

Dinosaurs are the most awesome reptiles ever. They should be in Mo' Creatures. Same with dodos. I thought dodos would be good. And besides, why dragons? You could find a Wyvern or battle the Ender Dragon. Regular dragons would be too overpowered.

I know this will get people mad at me, but I have to say this. Mo' Creatures has been a very good mod. However, if they add bosses in this mod, then it will have gone to poop. First of all, it ruins the purpose of this mod. Second, it ruins the purpose of this mod. Third, this mod is for creating ambience, not devilish, crazy boss mobs. If you're wondering why they have ogres, wraiths, werewolves, and all that stuff, it's because some person suggested hostile monsters, and wyverns aren't really counting as monsters. In fact, they are hunter creatures, which means they're in the same class as bears, komodo dragons, crocodiles, snakes, big cats, foxes, boars, and raccoons.
Minecraft just copied your horses , and yours still look better honestly....
Minecraft didn't "copy" them. DrZhark worked with Mojang to introduce horses into Minecraft officially, and they use his model (or a very similar version of it).

Actually, I don't see a problem with making another dimension for prehistoric life, that idea makes sense. With all the Mythological creatures in Mo' Creatures I don't see what's so weird about pre-Cenozoic era animals being in this wonderful mod. I couldn't see bosses in Mo' Creatures at this current stage, It would be odd considering this mod is mainly about adding wildlife. Maybe If Dr. Zhark ever wanted to go in an RPG-ish route, but I couldn't see that happening.
i wasnt talking about a regular dragon, i have an image, it could be based about him, he is from a game called The last Story, and besides, why not? there is an entire dimension designed only for dragons, he could be inside the island, and besides, tell me, where would those Dinosaurs be? they CANNOT be in the overworld, this is not prehistory .-. and making an entire dimension just for them is pretty weird... Its a good idea, but, having a dimesion as big as the nether would make the mod get really bigger, and (probably) laggy too, and, having some dinosaurs on a floating island is pretty weird too, so... what? this mod need bosses, that is why other mods like xtracraft or ethernalcraft made so popular, because of the epic bosses they had.

If you're wondering why they have ogres, wraiths, werewolves, and all that stuff, it's because some person suggested hostile monsters, and wyverns aren't really counting as monsters. In fact, they are hunter creatures, which means they're in the same class as bears, komodo dragons, crocodiles, snakes, big cats, foxes, boars, and raccoons.
They shouldn't be bosses neccesarily, i always thought that the awesome pets of mo creatures (wyverns, pegasi, etc) were far too easy to obtain, so, when i sent the message with the idea for the boss dragon, his attacks, and even his spawn position, i thought about a really tough monster, that, when you kill it, he gives you his spawn egg or something similar, when Dr zhark was going to add the wyverns he told the fans to make towers for a boss dragon to be on top of it, and, the best tower would be added to mo creatures, when that happened i made a gigantic tower,i sent it to Dr. zhark, but he never added any of the towers in the end...

Good idea! Well, there is one boss-like creature in Mo' Creatures, but it's not really a boss. It's the Golem. Maybe your suggestion would just be a boss-like creature?
um a little help when i get mo creatures everything works except the mod itself i did what it said to do copy the mo creature.zip into the mods but it still crashes

As for 1.6.2 update, we finished the initial port last night and managed to load it up in 1.6.2 fine. We are now working on fixing a few bugs that occured from all the 1.6 changes. We should have a release this week but don't quote me on that =).

The only reason was because I saw a post where someone recommended trying out the DEV version if they're experiencing spawn issues, so I thought there might be newer changes in there or maybe that's the "nightly/weekly" build thing. But I'll take your word for it since you're the DEV.

Does anyone else have been having issues getting Mo Creatures, BIomes O Plenty and Thaumcraft 3 to work together? When I have all three installed, nothing spawns but firebats, but if I only use 2 of any 3 then it's fine. My apologies, in this situation I don't know which mod's thread to ask this in.
