It seems Mammoths aren't spawning, there is no config entry for them. The entry for elephants (S:Elephant <FOREST:NORMAL:DESERT>) doesn't include arctic.
The config is merely a "default" and is meant to be changed. If you want elephants to spawn in the artic biomes then add the ARTIC biome group. Check MoCBiomeGroups.cfg for a list of all biomes in each group. You can also create your own customized biome group if you want.
If you are experiencing mobs freezing, disable the "Despawn Vanilla" option either in MoCProperties.cfg or via the GUI.
umm... dude the wyverns don't work properly! I got a wyvern egg from one of them and when i hatched it the game crashed and it keeps happening when i load that world!

Feeding the horses pumpkins in order to breed them is causing the game to crash, as mentioned by SnivyDrake. The first time I was able to give a pumpkin to each horse and the hearts for breeding appeared, but then it crashed. Now it crashes whenever I feel them a pumpkin at all.
I am also having a weird glitch with the dolphins when riding them, they sometimes glitch out and cannot be ridden properly, almost like they are lagging out. Other times they just sink to the bottom when you mount them. They don't try to buck me off, but they also aren't tamed. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

Yes.... and do you realize that all of the mindcrack youtubers also uploaded their 2.0 vids on april fools day as well? The minecraft crew does an april fools joke like this every year, such as the Steve. Co supply crates on April first of 2011

I don't know if it is possible, but can you make individual textures for the armors instead of having separate skins for each armored animal? What I mean is that instead of "horsewhitediamond" it would be just "horsewhite" with "horsearmordiamond" overlayed on it. This would save up a lot of space in the textures as well as make it easier for texture pack artists to make their own textures for it. The only problem I could foresee is issues with the translucency in the crystal armor, but there is probably a way to work around that. This means that there would only be 8 armor files (4 for the horses and 4 for the wyverns) and only 44 textures for the horses (not sure how many wyverns there are, though). It would be a big time saver as well.

yes, an oversight, thanks for the heads up, I'll include that in the default file
it's because this mod is reobfuscated with the old, now deprecated method which makes it incompatible with mcpc+.
all 1.5+ mods should be reobfuscated using the new runtime reobfuscation method (reobfuscate_srg.bat) to be compatible with mcpc+, otherwise they'll crash on it.
and as a bonus, mods that use this new method should be compatible with future versions of mc (at least minor bugfix ones like 1.5.1 was) without the need to recompile them, unless the mc code that the mod references was changed or removed.
forge will reobfuscate the mods on load using its always up to date version-dependent reobfuscation lists to make sure it's always using the newest obfuscation methods to stay compatible.
I'll reobfuscate with that method and post an update tonight
the wyvern portal staff doesn't seem to return you to your original place sometimes. once when i used it, i was instead returned at -30 y and around 200-300 blocks away from the place i used it originally, below bedrock layer, falling into the void.
as far as i remember, i did try to use the staff in a different spot than the arrival platform, it was pretty low on y coordinate and kinda far away from the platform. i wonder if that's why it happened. maybe using the staff outside of the platform sometimes changes or corrupts the overworld entry coordinates?
the way I coded it, the staff saves the coordinates where it is used originally, before going to the wyvern lair, where it spawns always at 0, 68, 0. Then when you use the staff on the wyvern portal, it takes you back to the dimension where it was used originally, with the saved coordinates, however it doesn't work well on the nether or end (where it spawns at a slight different location) but it should work well in the overworld

I keep on forgetting to put them in game. I am extremely phobic of 'roaches so that may be the reason I 'forget' to put them in game
This is one of the mods I always come to when I play single player, I love it. Seems like you're putting about half your work into redoing current creatures and half into adding new ones. Can't wait until all of your mobs have the same model and texture quality!
Also, the new ogres you're working on look fantastic.

- Cat beds/litter box cannot be put back down after picked up unless you log out and log back in
- Cat beds have texture errors
- Pet eggs despawn (pretty sure they aren't supposed to)

So I found this mod, and I was like "Woah! This is awesome! I'm going to download it right now! I install it and i'm really excited!... My minecraft crashes... *Sob* It was awful... My computer slaped me in the face, caught on fire, then exploded in giant fireball which set my house ablaze...
Bug detected, minecraft mobs act after they should, when you fly a wyvern and you click when handing a sword (only tested with a sword) it damages your wyvern, also, when you try to turn a fire, it doesnt work (i know its a feature of the dimension) but i found a way to turn on a fire, you need to put a fire charge inside a dispenser, turn it on, and then you have a fire, also, i saw the mother wyvern sprite, goood!!!, also, you really should make alternates by using the essences, diferent ones depending on the colour, well, now i will uninstall dev version as i need to do some things, but if you need my help for anything, send me a PM!
