I have 4 tamed manticores, but they are hurting me when I'm near them. any ideas?
Yeah, it's a bug, hopefully the doctor has heard the complaints and is working on it as we speak. And it's not just manticores, all big cats are acting hostile to their owners after they grow large enough.
what i ment was a file or something where you can adjust the spawnrate or so, not another mod on top, i almost have 50 mods and want to stop somewhere =)
P.S. and somehow my big golems stay in a blue state and i cant even damage them =/
while there is a config file for MOC that lets you "adjust" the spawn settings, it doesn't fully work and can't disable mobs.

Instead of the forge you download with Mo'S Creatures 1.7.10, I have a newer version because another mod I really love needs an updated version, but because of it, I think wither skeletons stopped spawning naturally.
Is there a forge version over forge-1.7.10-10.13.2.1236 where wither skeletons spawn naturally with mo's creatures?
I just wanted to stop by and say thanks to Dr Zhark for continuing to support this mod. It's a personal favourite of mine and my friends, and I can't wait to be able to play it on 1.10.

it is not MOC screwing up the spawn system but CMS.
Hey, I'm really struggling with something! Not sure if its a known issue, but i searched for hours and couldn't find anything.
So I've installed Mo' Creatures on Minecraft 1.8.9 (Mo'Creatures 8.2.1), With Custom Mod Spawner, 3.6.0, And the suggested version of Forge. The Mod seems to be running ok, but my issue is with the in game menu! The Menu shows up under Global Mod Options, but it seems that a bunch of features are missing, such as the "Ambient" menu is completely empty, and none of the menu's have any options for spawn rates.
I'm not running any other mods except the two mentioned and forge, I've tried completely deleting my .minecraft folder and starting from scratch, and a few other expected troubleshoots like using the 1.8 version of the mod and CMS, but I can't get spawn rates to appear in Mo Creatures' in game menu!
If anyone knows how to fix this issue, it would be hugely appreciated! Thank you!
EDIT: Also, not sure if this is relevant or related, but the Insta-Spawn feature in the menu also doesnt do anything for me!

While I do understand the pain of bug fixes for 1.7.10, please remember that there is at the very least an existing VERSION of the mod for 1.7.10 players, and for those of us who prefer to keep up to date on minecraft, we are no longer able to continue enjoying the mod if we choose to embrace the new systems. While this is admittedly our choice, we are left completely out of the circle of enjoying the mod at all if there are not new versions for the up to date versions in that case. This in effect penalizes people for playing the core game and enjoying the new features we often look forward to. For myself, Mo Creatures and MCA are core mods I love, because of the RPG feel it creates for me. I would love to see us keep up on new versions at the very least. Again, while I feel the pain for those choosing to use the older versions, at least they do have a working mod that is playable. It is better to have to wait on a feature or two in an optional mod to be fixed than it is to not be able to play it at all, after all.
Some of us have a similar problem with the older versions. I like 1.8.9 because it has immersive engineering and thaumcraft as well as this mod. Many people love mods that don't have a 1.10.2 version yet, or that have noticably degenerated when changing to those later versions, such as jurassicraft.
Hey is anybody else having an issue with an invisible kitty bed in their game on 1.8.9?
The object is placing because it leaves my inventory but I cannot see it other than on my minimap.
The kitty is still using it but I can't tell when it needs food or anything

if you have a mob spawn control mod, such as the recommended CMS, you can do this.

Even the not naturally spawning ones, like the hybrids and winged versions. Or at least the winged panther.
