there are numerous guides out there, but here's a quick and dirty.
you'll create a zip file that will have the same texture files in the same folder hierarchy as the mod uses.
so if the original file location was MOC/textures/ogre, it will be that way in your resource pack
there may be a file or two you will need for the game to recognize the zip as a texture pack, it has been a while since I created one from scratch. All I do is mash texture packs together. namely the Sphax DBcraft style.
increase the spawncap typing /cms Creatures spawncap 300 also this helps /cms spawntickratecreature 50 and make sure that this is typed /gamerule doMobSpawning true.

Doesn't matter what the press says. Doesn't matter what the politicians or the mobs say. Doesn't matter if the whole country decides that something wrong is something right. This nation was founded on one principle above all else: the requirement that we stand up for what we believe, no matter the odds or the consequences. When the mob and the press and the whole world tell you to move, your job is to plant yourself like a tree beside the river of truth, and tell the whole world — "No, you move
Well... I want to use it along with other mods. Not like a technic modpack or stuff.. Just make people download it along with some other mods in order to enter my server. By the way, is it okay if I put all the mods including this one and make a link for people to download all of the mods?(at once, would remove much hassle)

if that link is public, no. if it is given out privately, yes.
if you want to make it public you can make a link for all the other mods beside MOC/CMS and then link back to this post for MOC/CMS.
Does the ratio which creatures, monsters and all go after use a ratio between all different mobs?
I know that creatures have their own ratio, but what I mean is that if different mods have their own ratio.
If i for instance have a mod which adds 5 creatures and I have them set on a ratio of 20 (which should mean that all 5 spawn at the same rate somewhat) and I in Mo's Creatures spawn config set the creatures to 100. Does it mean that Mo's creaturs spawn 5 times more or does it separate it so that all spawn the same?

the freq goes by creature type, mods are not separated.

so i have a problem. ive been playing this mod for a while and ive loved the water mobs. im playing on 1.7.10 and i have found no water mobs other than the dumb*** squid. i love the mod but it seems like u decresed the mo creatures mobs spawn rate. that makes me mad because that to me was the best part of the mod and now ti sucks.
Can maby someone help me with my MobSpawner. I am using the DrZharks MoCreatures Mod v6.3.1 + CustomMobSpawner 3.3.0
My problem is that i want to setup a Mobspawner for Rats.
So i tryed the command "/setblock ~ ~1 ~ minecraft:mob_spawner 0 replace {EntityId:MoCreatures.Rat,SpawnCount:2,SpawnRange:3,RequiredPlayerRange:64,Delay:10,MinSpawnDelay:10,MaxSpawnDelay:100}"
But this will not work.
It only works when i put only one condition for the spawner. If i add more like above i get a error and only a normal Pig MobSpawner spawn.
Any help?
you may not be able to do that, have you tried NEI?

map from a previous version of MC

May I translate your mod in Taiwan?
HOPE YOU SEE THIS Dr Zhark! Really want 1.8 snapshot version of Mo'Creatures!
forge got a recommended version for 1.8 ten days ago, it will take a LOT longer than that for a mod of this size to update to 1.8
what two things do i need ?
two files that may or may not still be needed. check any resource pack guide for the version of MC you are using.
you may not be able to do that, have you tried NEI?
check water creature max spawn limit. some versions have a typo in the default config and have 5 instead of at least 50
Where do i find that?
