Okay, so I got my minecraft.jar to run AudioMod and Modloader, then I installed Mo' Creatures are per the instructions (Deleter META-INF and all that). I'm running Mac OSX 10.5.8, which is ordinarily problematic for installing mods, but I've done some witchcraft to the java that allowed me to install Better Light and Biome Terrain Editor. Mo' Creatures should work also, but I got this instead:

I have updated the mode to version 2.1.1, this are the changes:

-fixed sppining bug when mounting horses
-horses will no longer eat eggs
-You can now offer bowlsoup to the horses in addition to Pumpkins for reproduction
-you can now use the torch to open the horses inventory
-fixed the 'undead horse glitch'
-? fixed the horse chunk eating glitch
-Changed the bird's wings (thanks to KodaichiZero)
-Artificially Increased spawn rate of birds
-Made birds tamable: they won't despawn after eating seeds, and they won't be scared by the player after tamed
The birds spawn on grass like the other mobs, don't they? I think they should spawn only on leaves, that way they would only spawn on top of trees.
Also, after I got a Dove (AKA the bird with the most annoying sounds) inside my house, I've been thinking how awesome it would be to have a bunch of noisy birds inside my house (I think my Tortoises are kinda lonely in there, they could use some company). Do you have any plans to let us pick them up and somehow make them not despawn?

This mod looks really great, but unfortunately I can't figure out how to get mod loader to work. I've tried for weeks. Can anyone help me so that I can finally use this amazing mod?

Heh, did a quick search, didn't see this anywhere, so it may be old news, or it may be helpful to everyone.
Well, I found a way to defend my base from Ogres without using Obsidian. Got the idea from SMP Anti-Griefing/Base Defense measures, actually. A common type of "siege weapon" is making a TNT cannon to destroy buildings from a distance. The best defense is to place a Water Source block at the top of a wall and let water flow down the side touching each block until hitting a moat at the bottom. The TNT hits the water and explodes, but the blocks aren't destroyed thanks to the water. How does this apply to Ogres? The block destroying effect is an explosion, just like TNT or Creeper explosions, which means its effect won't travel through water either. So all you have to do is make a wall with water flowing down the sides, and the Ogre won't be able to break through.
I can post some pics of my current base if anyone requests it. Right now it's just a wooden house sitting on a stone pillar, with water flowing down the sides of the pillar so that it can't be destroyed by the ogres. There's a small pool of water around the base, and a tunnel underneath that leads to the center of the pillar and up a ladder into my lil' home.

I hit it over the head with a brick and dragged it by its wings to my stable.
Then made a nightmare rape it.

The werewolf has proven very difficult to do. Remember, it's going to be the first metamorphic mob ever for Minecraft. Also the werewolf 3D model is more complex than anything I've done before. Firehazurd is helping me with the werewolf model, I have already something very exciting to show and I could do a nice teaser video but I'm waiting for him to submit the texture. I'm doing good progress.
The description for the wildlife pack says it includes birds but it doesn't have the bird class files, though it does have the bird textures and sounds. Is this correct?
I right-clicked on a horse with an empty hand and minecraft crashed.
I'm pretty sure I have everything installed correctly.
I know that there's really no reason to do that, but it still shouldn't crash when I do. Perhaps you can test it out to confirm that this is really a bug?
Also, aside from my little bug complaint, I think this mod is really amazing!
One more thing: your forum nor your readme describe exactly what it means to "tame a horse".
