I know they're extinct, but mammoths?
I would love to see something like that and I think they'd be a cool sight in the tundra biome
anyway, love this mod, keep it up like viagra :smile.gif:
Mammoths are cool. You should request those to the archaeology mod.
Do you think you could do reindeer? Their basically deer, but thicker and both male and female have antlers. If you do do reindeer, could you make them tame able and able to pull sleighs. The sleighs could be crafted by placing a boat in the center then putting sticks on the bottom row(crafting table). And for anyone reading this, reindeer actually pull sleighs. I'm not just talking about it being Christmas.Do you think you could do reindeer? Their basically deer, but thicker and both male and female have antlers. I'll add some kind of check so the scorpions and hunter creatures won't spawn within 16 or 24 blocks of torches
Fwehf, I had to wade but I found you had responded to my post so thanks for that. I've had animals spawn in the desert, perhaps the biome was set to ocean?
Anyways, it could be overly optimistic of me, but why not just follow vanilla spawning behavior? Surely the same system that spawns the normal creatures could be hijacked?
Notch had mentioned when he put in breeding, he built the system so it would be easier for mods to also incorporate breeding. Is there some barrier to just doing it the same as the base game, or is it a personal choice to have it like this? Or, is it just a lot of work to make that sort of adjustment?
I found a bug i guess animals of mocreatures are doing 'couples' they dont walk, dont move when have a 'partner'just
look to other animal head but agressive mobs dont do it...
ok a couple things i know this may sound like im a total idiot but how do you install it and do you have to get all of the other stuff? and dous it cost money?
Incase you're curious for absolutely no reason, I had the account Yoyosorayo before the curse switch and long story short that account is lost in a sea of curse.
I really enjoy this addon, it was one of the first I used and it's still one of my favorites.
I read so many posts like "add this... please add, add, add.....". So I also want to leave a wish here:
Please add... nothing until you fixed this addon a bit.
It's no more fun when:
you have to kill a bunch of skorpions every day in your house
you can't start an animal farm because your vanilla mobs despawn, even when you turn this of in the options
you get overrun by certain types of mobs, even when you turned them to very rare (spawn limit=1)
you have tons of "not fitting" creatures (e.g. polar bears spawning in forest biomes, together with lions, tigers and so on)
Please, you have an addon which could make the world of minecraft a bit more realistic. Before adding tons of new stuff, work on the excisting content to balance it.
In real world animals don't "spawn" over and over again when you kill them. And each animal has found way's to survive. With your mod I've watched kitties running across the map and a bunch of turtles, wild wolves anf so on. But no matter, the kittie despawns in a few minutes and instead of it we get tons of new turtles, some lions and a few polar bears.
I know it's a hard way to balance such a big load of great content (maybe that's the reason why this "lazy" mojang team isn't so fast in adding content?), but what's the use of the content when it get's more and more "unenjoyable". OK, it's nice to see all these animals, but I want to build my world.
Hope you read this and think about it (and also people don't flame me to the ground because I critizized this addon), but I really like you're work and I'm afraid it get's really unplayable.
Sorry, if not everything is written correctly. English is not my native language.

This is a great post. I just wanted to say that I fully agree with this and I hope you work on these things.

Cool turtles. Things to consider...
1. Sharks eat squids.
2. Crocodiles should be barely visible at night and have there eyes glow. That way it adds to the spooky and scaryness of the mod.
3. You should add a albino variant crocodile. :smile.gif:

I agree with this post as well. I love the mod, but wish the bugs it brings were worked on a bit.

The United Puppy Nation demands puppies in this mod. Bigfoot demands himself into this mod. They won't leave until then. :3

To change the spawn rates, go to Options and go to Global Mod Settings in your Minecraft menu. From there on, you can change the spawn rates.
0=No Spawn
10=Very Common

Clients with this mod will spawn creatures on vanilla servers.
I agree with this post as well. I love the mod, but wish the bugs it brings were worked on a bit.
White tigers all ready exist. They spawn with groups of regular tigers, but they're pretty rare. :3
She's the only one I have right now, but yeah. x3
