dude you are pathetic, scamming your loyal mod lovers with your ad.fly bulls*** survey, use dropbox or something that will actually let us download the files
Sorry about the survey ad. It seems to be breaking the rules on adf.ly so expect it to be resolved soon. If you can't get to the link, there are mirrors in Old Versions.
I hope everyone complaining, and the douche who mirrored Risugami's work, get put on a blacklist. Risugami does this SO YOU CAN ENJOY MINECRAFT. Quit ****ing bitching that he tries to get a couple dollars from his work.
lolol everyone's so mad about the new download links. lolol me 2 i'm very ticked off
And all the modders are ticked off about working for free and yet you still bitching at us so enjoy the new ads, and deal with it. I'm glad Risugami got smart and started using adfly. I hope all modders do.
You should NEVER give away for free something that you can make money off of. That is a basic rule of economics.
There is no free lunch....
And furthermore No one is going to make something you like for free and take the treatment we take and not want to make money for it. We deserve it to deal with all the "your **** doesn't work" posts we get when people can't read a simple instruction set. Even when it's posted in size 70 bold red text people still ask the same questions....
You had no problem paying notch for his half finished game with virtually no tech support. Yet people come along and try to make it better, hell even fix it, like this guy fixed notch's 6 month old biome grass side BUG!
Then you expect him to give you free tech support to fix it because your lack of being able to look for the answer yourself, that is usually in the OP in Bold red text.
When the guy you PAID willingly hasn't fixed these simple bugs and doesn't really have any tech support and is adding cookies and cake....
So waiting 5 seconds to click a link to pay him pennies on the download isn't going to kill you.
This guy has spent months on this, show some damn respect.
Also No one is forcing you to use this mod, just like no one forces you to watch TV or listen to the radio.
Advertising/money is what makes those things possible....
Thank you Risugami for this great mod, keep it up, and don't cave to the kids that don't understand that they can't have everything they want for free. Keep the links, you deserve every penny.

Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
War doesn't decide who is right, just who is left...
Hi, don't bite my head off.
I've read every word of Risugami's post. Every last word. I have followed the instructions for installing ModLoader to the letter, as well as several tutorials on Youtube. Only once has the install been successful, with no different steps taken, and even after that no other mods would work. Soon after, Minecraft was updated and I have not been able to replicate the successful install. Go ahead and rage at a "noob who doesn't know how to install mods", but I know my way around files. What frustrates me is that after taking the exact steps others do, I get different results. And yes, my versions are correct, and I have taken appropriate steps for removing the META-INF folder. I hate to ask at this point, but is there some sort of stupid-obvious step that's not explained in the numerous above posts or any Youtube tutorials?
*Bracing for rage*
EDIT: Scratch that, I'm not competent enough to figure out how to use the command line. Thanks for the intended help, though. I'll ask again once Minecraft is out of Beta.

Hey, calm down. Only idiots get raged at :biggrin.gif:
We do need a bit of information though, becuase specific installation varies a bit.
-OS
-Mods installed
-Error (you may have to launch Minecraft from the command line if you have a black screen, that just means the error stopped the game from rendering it)
Ok so i installed this mod before and it worked fine and was very fun. Reacently I cleared my .jar file and put in the updated planes mod. After i got that working i put the elemental arrows mod in again. (same steps were taken, mod loader is in etc.) I can craft evey arrow but when i shoot them THE ARROWS DONT FLY I even reinstalled it to make sure i didn't miss somthing. So idk if the plane's mod is affecting this or what but Any help is appreciated.
sadd faceee
