How do I make that work? I keep getting errors in MCP. >_<
It is not working in the Block jar. I don't know where else to put it.
Thats for Binding texture to the renderengine (for gui n stuff) and fot block s it i think:
.setLucalizedName(youBlockname) or .setUnocalizedName(yourBlockName) and the image of your block has to be the same name in assets/minecraft/textures/blocks/yourBlockname.png
I'll wdit this if i'm on a proper pc
It's:
.setUnlocalizedName("yourItemName").setTextureName("yourImageName");
place it in assets/minecraft/textures/items/yourItemName.png
I just wanted to take a moment to thank you, Risugami. You made it simpler for people to make and install mods, and I don't think I would still be playing Minecraft if it weren't for those mods and your Modloader.

I had to do the unthinkable. I converted my mod to work in Forge (It was a pain to do.). Sorry Risugami!
Thank You for giving us ModLoader by the way!
Hey guys, please keep Forge discussion and Forge related questions out of this topic. Also, please do not post things such as "he abandoned us" or "this mod is dead" as this is not only off-topic with the discussion of the mod, nor does it support the development of the mod itself.
Can someone give me a detailed tutorial on how to use the spawner GUI? I can't figure it out.
I haven't tried it in a while, but last I heard, you had to be in creative mode with admin settings I think. Just right-click on a spawner and the GUI will pop up, change the mob you want, hit esc to close.

UNCLEAR INSTRUCTIONS - WHICH .JAR FILE FOR NEW LAUNCHER!
For installation of mod loader with the new launcher, do you drag the 'necessary files' into appdata/roaming/.minecraft/versions/1.6.2ML/1.6.2ML.jar or appdata/roaming/.minecraft/bin/minecraft.jar (which .jar file is it - they both have a META-INF)
PS: minecraft 1.7.2 (I'm using 1.6.2 [1.6.2ML] for this mod - I use different versions on different profiles, each with a different game directory eg .minecraft, .minecraftML. etc.) Anyway 1.7.2 doesn't seem to need a 'bin' folder any more - I've re downloaded minecraft to try and get back the original bin (last time I tried to install mods I didn't back 'bin' up) but it doesn't download 'bin'.

I don't know how to use spoilers.
I'm no genius but I looks like it couldn't render the menu screen. Just try installing the mod again with a fresh vanilla jar for 1.5.2 apparently? And did you remember to delete the META-INF and drag ALL the files from the (modloader.zip I guess). Hope this works!
Actually there is no bin anymore! so to find the .jar(s) go into the versions file and open the folder of the version you want and DING! easy as that.
Why just because you don't have a \bin do you assume no one does?
I have and use a \bin. ALL my 1.5.2 and earlier MC versions live there. It still operates as it always has!
If you use simo_415's version of SPC (1.6.2) a \bin is needed (where you put the WorldEdit.jar).
Just because YOU don't have/need it doesn't mean it's not required!
I can't seem to find any ModLoader tutorials that work for that version.
this.mc.func_110434_K().func_110577_a(new ResourceLocation("yourTexturePath"));
How do I make that work? I keep getting errors in MCP. >_<
