What is craft guide like? Is it like recipe book or NEI?
I guess I can call it a more advanced form of recipe book. I found out that it has more functions than recipe book. Go try it out and see for yourself! If you really want to be more cautious, make a backup of your minecraft.jar to ensure that you will not lose anything.
I am using the mcpatcher now which makes it easier to revert
back to the orig minecraft.jar file...so has somewhat made the process
easier to maintain. I can add the modloader and the superslopes and
does not create an error anymore but im assuming now that the
superslopes is not activating because they do not show to be in
the minecraft objects selection list when minecraft is running.
Ask the super slopes people, this is not a modloader problem.
Alright, thanks. Is forge just another mod? (I'm just returning ot Minecraft after a long break, so I'm completely lost).
Also, I just installed TMI, no ModLoader, and it works just fine.
Yes, forge is another type of mod interface, look in your mods folder, I bet you have a mod there you forgot you installed back before you quit playing.
I don't know why, but it looks like TMI and recipe book are fighting. I don't use TMI, so I have no idea. Don't use recipe book, I guss, doesn't TMI have essentially the same thing?
I'd hate to be the kind of person who reports bugs that everyone else has probably already reported, but the Recipe Book mod removes mob skulls from the game entirely because the book uses Item ID 397, which is the same ID the skulls have.
I just spawned in all the mob heads and they work fine. You can change the item ID the book uses in the config file for it, it's set at 587 in mine and I never touched it.
I've been having issues in editing the config file for your Recipe Book mod.
For example, I was making a change in mod_RecipeBook.cfg file in order for it to work on a server that I play on. I edited the code and saved it. Then I booted up minecraft and tried out the mod on the server. It didn't work...
I found out that my changes in the config file reverted back to the original code that you had in there initially. So I closed minecraft and re-edited the code; saved it and booted up minecraft again. Same result occurred. The mod didn't work and the code reverted back to the original code.
Is there a fix coming to this later or is there a way to finalize the save?
What changes are you making? I don't have a server to text on, but I can try similar changes and see what happens.

Its much easier to download on mac than provided! you open app store and get the unarchiver (free) then go to to application support then minecraft and open the folder called minecraft then go to bin then open the jar with the unarchiver and you will get a folder called "minecraft" simply add .jar to that and now its like the microsoft way drag all of the folders in and hit replace for all of them and delete meta inf enjoy! ( i have had a windows computer for years and personally i think getting mods for mac is easier)

Let’s play good guys against bad guys… Yes. Let’s play that. Are you ready? You’re the bad guy. And when you’re bad, you just run. That’s fine right? Well… Shall we play?
Hey dude, love the mods, but im using minecraft 1.3.2 for single player commands to make my adventure map. I want to use tmi so i want to use the modloader to get more features, but when i go to the older versions i cant find the 1.3.2 version. Is there a reason for this, and if so why and can i have the download link for it please?? Thanks dude
Same thing here.
I wonder if Risugami just forgot to upload the newer versions, or they are omitted for a reason. Either way, the other posters seem to be unable to help.
