I agree, I think they should give some credit to Risu, Since he did technically start the whole modding concept by making Modloader.
Without him, people might have not gotten the idea to mod...
That's right

all credit goes to AlternativeLies, do not ask about downoad, it ain`t avalible yet.
Don't expect anything until well after 1.3 is formally released, and perhaps even not then. Risugami may surprise us, or tell everybody to go to hell. Why does it matter to you?
I'd like to see something for this pre-release, but I'm certainly not expecting it.
my mineraft crashes and gives an error report when i try to use any mods, but not if i dont have mods installed
This is like telling a geek your computer doesn't work. You have to be more specific. Give the error report or we have no idea what's going on.

Let’s play good guys against bad guys… Yes. Let’s play that. Are you ready? You’re the bad guy. And when you’re bad, you just run. That’s fine right? Well… Shall we play?
I'm using the biosphere mod right now but I have only run into one problem, which is finding sugar cane. any ideas on what biome sugar cane would spawn in for the biospheres?
Modloader isn't required for Optifine. All you need is Optifine in the .jar, and it will run. If you install any mods along with Optifine, just make sure Optifine loads last.

Or follow specific instructions from an individual mod developer if there are other mods you want to run with Optifine. Installation order for some mods can be a real pain in the behind if you aren't careful. That is of course why Mod Loader is so useful because conformance to the API gives you fewer loading conflicts.
Still, I'd recommend installing Optifine after you have installed Mod Loader if you have other mods you want to use that require Mod Loader.
I do not think you answered this. When I log into Minecraft, it says "Minecraft has stopped running because it has encountered a problem." I only tried to load 1 mod. What should i do? I have Single player commands installed, if that helps.

Is that all it says or is there an error message? We need that error message to pin point the problem, otherwise we're shooting blindly

Nope. I doubt it ever will, at least not as a pure plug-in.
Version 2.1 now updated for MC 1.6.2
As the Minecraft code changes in each version ( to fix bugs, etc. ) the old mods won't support this new code, so it won't work.
Risugami has to update it before it will work with 1.3, and he hasn't done that yet.

I KNOW RIGHT!!! He commented on my socialite mod and I swear I watched that thing jump up and down for 10 mins straight

Are you sure it's the file and not the site? I have kasper sky and it sometimes block ads in adf.ly, has nothing to do with the mod
This is Bitdefender blocking the website itself, and not the file you are downloading. disable bitdefender and download, then reenable.
