"The Trickster, ruling over the Basin with relentless deception, tears away at the sanity of his empire with constant pranks, occasionally making gruesome sacrifices for his own pleasure. The Illusionist, guardian of the Deadlands, drives his people into pounding madness with false hope during the day and unspeakable nightmares from dusk to dawn. Finally, the Deceiver, overseeing the labyrinth of despair known as the Knot, quells the rebellion of his subjects and persuades them to live their lives in endless, torturous servitude for the benefit of their King.
The unfaltering Trinity has existed for centuries, bringing nothing but misery to their domains. Myths have been passed down from generation to generation about their insufferable acts, and their stories have become omnipresent, engraved into the minds of populations stretching across every corner of the globe. All of the brave adventurers with nothing left to lose who have attempted to visit the colonies themselves have simply fallen victim to the traps laid by their rulers, doomed to live through the horrors they had never seen themselves but heard so much about. Shocked and appalled by the legends, a lone traveler sets off with sword in hand to conquer the fabled kingdoms and dethrone the Trinity once and for all..."

Hero,
Reading these few lines of my journal means I have failed to survive long enough to welcome you.
Maybe decades, centuries or even millennium have come and gone but some day for sure our life and splendor you will bring back from the Past.
Your coming in these far away wasted lands is no hazard; the Old Stones Shrine’s aura has finally reached you and called for your help.
For thousands of years legions of envious tried to steal the Power Stones but none ever succeeded. Eventually, all of the 4 Stones were stolen and we all fought to death defending our Heritage.
I am the only survivor.
I managed to escape our realm before joining my brothers that passed into the murky realm of Hel; but the bit of Energy I had left was consumed for my teleportation into this Dark Temple.
This place is the only one still at peace.
I beg of you to recover the Stones and restore the Power of the North.
Ronald Lauren,
Wize Mage of the Old North
EDIT : I noticed a problem with the Player's Respawn after beeing killed...
Sooo, the original file is still linked up there. Since it's the one I "submitted".
But if you want to play the fixed version here are the good files:
Halcyon Hearth is BY FAR the BEST MAP I've ever played, and I'm not usually a fan of mini-CTM's. The game-play is amazing and I managed only too die once. I think this map is my choice for winner. I recomend that EVERYONE gives this map a try even if they don't like mini-CTM maps.
On a complete side note I'm sad that I didn't manage to finish (or start) my map because I was out of town for a few days. I hope one day I get to take part in one of these

Not quite as pretty as some of the others in here, but here's an album of screenshots from my map. Hoping to get a friend to playtest a bit of it for me in the early morning, if he can't do it then I"ll just be releasing it as-is and hope the balance is close to right.
I just finished a jam map "World -1" here is my review:
Spoiler Free Review:
A very fun map, but not what you would be expecting from a CTM map. It will not be everybodys cup of tea, but I enjoyed it. There is only one objective, but that does not derive from the in any way. Overall it took me around 30 minutes to finish it, but it was a lot more fun then many other maps I have played. I rate this a solid 8/10.
Full Review:
A very interesting map, I liked how there was no combat yet it still kept you entertained. The simplicity of it is what makes it beautiful. I really enjoyed exploring the dungeons, and having to come up with a way to mark the ones off that I had already explored. My tree did not drop a sapling, so I was worried there, but then I discovered I didn't even need it. I may of kinda posible went into gm 3 on the second level to find how to get down to the next level. I liked to giant fleecy box, as well as the ending with the world upside down. Overall it took me around 30 minutes to finish it, but it was a lot more fun then many other maps I have played. I rate this a solid 8/10.
The number, size, and apparent quality of the maps you all have made over a single weekend are awe inspiring. I intend to play each and every map, starting with Ty_Plays's, the guy who brought the marvel that is this creative collaboration to my attention.
So far on what I've played: As always Sketch and Tikaro either plan and make this one year ahead of time or are faster at building than a Gunter with a Speed 3 potion. As always, very good maps.
Ehem... I here... I saw... so SHUT UP! You will pay...
Even Sketch finished before I did ;=;
It's almost done guys I promise within the next 7 minutes. Before Midnight EST.
I have Finished my map (11:47 pm EDT) !
