It actually looks pretty good (especially that Ferris wheel type thing). That Ferris wheel is actually a wheely cool idea. In fact it opens up a circle of opportunity's. (I'm sorry but I had to go there)
I agree. I'm FAIR-ly certain Disarray will turn out to be fantastic. It might have its ups and downs, but I'm sure it'll be a balanced and well-rounded map.
I have to honest and say that I'm not too fond of Lime. Netherrack, soul sand, stone and mycelium feels like a bit too much, especially when you consider how similar mycelium and stone are in colour. It just ends up looking sort of yucky. (Unless that's the look you're going for, I suppose.)
I would suggest maybe try removing the stone? Three block types for the one area should be a good amount.
So unfortunately, there won't be a Dragonian Custom-mob Display like I had promised, as the custom mob I had in mind doesn't work like it's supposed to.
Basically, I was trying to make it so about 8 arrows were stacked on top of a skellie, all with different motion values, so that when you kill the skellie, the arrows would fly out in a sort of post-mortem attack. Unfortunately, I got as far as stacking the arrows on top of the skellies before realizing that the motion tags don't apply to the arrows. To make things worse, the arrows didn't unstack. :/ So I ended up with a tower of arrows where the skellie had died. Quite disappointing considering the time I've spent on everything.
However, one cool little thing I found out was that an arrow riding a mob makes for a really cool effect with the mob's head. Kinda makes it look like the head is detached and floating above a fire coming from the mob's torso.
So I recently uploaded a remastering of an old video I posted. Thought I might post it here. See what kinds of things I did when I first tried mapping.

I just looked at your channel, and I saw that you have videos on Whizzball. I used to love that game.
And on topic, I watched the first 5 minutes of the montage and it looks cool. I might watch the rest of it in the near future, though I don't have time right now.
/me knew about this already because /me is awesome.
@Adam Great! Glad to have you here!
EDIT: Right now I'm having a lot of deja vu about my first post on the community thread

@hoodvire Ponie CTM?
Hey! I like, run this... or something:
Quite possibly yes
Spoiler Alert:
I don't know about you guys but these screenshots are slowly building up a heavy and fast hype train that will smash through all barriers.
I'm pretty bad to...

Why...
Yes. I've never done it myself, but I've heard quite a lot about it.
Aww man, you should try it. This is the true old school hardcore
404 Challenge? I remember when Guude played that.
Oh right, forgot he did a series on that. That was awesome.

Omg yes, 404 challenge right? Does the seed still work?
I didn't really use it for lighting in this case so I think I'm an abuser of this...
Since it's too far in the sky it doesn't provide much light on the fortress if at all. I hope it doesn't look too bad.
Also Fallen Civilization is now in the Project Ares rotations (But they used to old version .-.).

Anyway, that was a pretty depressing 1500th post.
