So yeah, im making progress again (woot woot) and currently im working on my yellow wool area, Bleakstone Precipice / Fort Bleakstone. specifically im working on Fort Bleakstone. So yeah, here's a WIP picture
so yeah, it still needs work (obviously) I've yet to add depth to the wall, some color to break up the grey, the interior isn't even begun, and the roof of the largest tower needs finishing. Regardless of all these facts, what do you think? am i on the right track?
Looks nice... but I don't know how it would look with ice and snow....
Lol, I made a new lightmap for my three_two Gravel pack; vanilla Minecraft has never looked so good... (also using some cool skymaps with custom clouds etc)
This looks really cool. The background has me intrigued though, I want to see it.
Btw, updates to Legends of Argonia in my thread! Intersection 1 and 2 are completely finished, along with 2 areas remade.
Well the point wasn't really to show off anything I'd built, but the cool lighting I added... I'll probably include it in the world download whenever I'm done
Hi guys! I just wanted to note that (albeit a day late) I put up the theme poll for the jam. If you haven't already voted since it went up go check it out!
Guys, I have a question, I've been wondering about something, how do you remove the monotonous feel to a stone wall, adding other blocks to it doesn't really seem to just make it feel less monotone

Every bloody CTM map series boasts that it's bigger, longer, and harder than other CTM series. It's almost as if it's a **** measuring contest. (bigger, longer, harder...)

Give it depth. Add pillars. Add other colors, but do so in a tactful way. Try not to have the colors touching on the same layer, instead try to set the other colors back.

There ain't much left of the world these days. The gods have forsaken us, there's no denying that. But still you press on. For what? A chance to sift through the ashes one last time? The hope to one day be called a hero? Whatever your reason, you've got a lot of work to do. The corruption won't leave without a fight, so you better get started.
A random question. If tools are stacked when you use them till it breaks do they all break or does it just go down one. I am in UT3 and there is a a stone pick stacked to 4 and I was like "hahaha I will just use my efficiency 3 book and have 4 efficient picks in one slot." but I am not sure if it will work so I wanted to ask before I try it.
EDIT!**:)!%% Ok someone on the Super Hostile thread answered this. So It does work if anyone else had the same question.
Hey Guys, Chiefwiggy here, and I have officially released Inspired Gallery, the 3rd map in my CTM collection into Open Beta. I hope you guys enjoy the map and please put any bugs you find in the map on my thread <3.

Skeeto, should I write up a new RH review for the final update? Cause I just replayed it with my friend(he had 564 deaths, don't ask), and the new update definitely improved it.
Either your friend really sucks or you killed him 564 times... I won't ask though
Examine Kid, if you're here or have been lurking as of late, I was considering giving Remote Districts 2 a try. I went to your thread and read that skeeto had major problems with a certain area making it almost impossible to pass. Has this been fixed? i'd love to give it a try but I want to wait until the few major bugs are flattened out
Helloooo, Skeeto indeed did have problems, and I have fixed them up too what area she played in, which was roughly Intersection 03, - I have updated every area though with 1.6 features, Soooo all should be good. I updated the download yesterday, so feel free to play it! Gimme a poke if anything needs fixing..
ok, little offended that only one person noticed my picture that i wanted feedback on, but i dont wanna throw a pity party so i'll move on now.
So two maps i've been thinking about playing, Frigid Wasteland and Remote District II. does anyone know if these maps are any good?
Also @Skeeto, ef eye rite ah reevuw d0 eye git ah chalk-o-lateh cooky?
Well (as I've been told) I wrote a stellar review on frigid wasteland so you could check that out! The Map really shouldnt be too difficult although it is harder than a map made to be easy. http://www.minecraft...0#entry23880733 Link to the review
Ive also heard RD 2 is good as well and it apparently has just been updated to 1.6 although i cant vouch for the quality of the map it looks good so It's also a stellar option.
I think either map is worth playing, frigid wasteland is the easier of the two, though

There's a hangman puzzle on my post of one of the remade areas, so hopefully you all can hop along and figure it out.
I think we were both commenting on the lightmap.
