Why so much drama? Im being serious. People have to cause uneccisarry drama for no reason. qmagnet, sorry if someone doesnt enjoy your map, big (Redacted) deal but instead of being upset about it and saying you arent gonna make a map again, ask for feedback, use that feedback to make your product better, dont give up. and dont let your map be judged by a single person, you want to prove people that they were wrong about you, and having a crummy map. And dont go around trying to get people to feel sorry for you, because that is a sign of weakness, lazyness and will get you nowhere. I think you have potential but you need to work towards it and learn from your feedback not feel bad about it. And Hey, its the internet, people will be blantanly honest with you because they dont have to say it to your face, and sometimes blatant critism is the best critism. When i look for people to give me feedback i dont want it sugar-coated, i want what u did wrong shoved in my face, to an extent. (*cough Redstone_Fanatic* ) .
Everyone, stop giving him grief about, "well technically its not a CTM". That really doesnt matter. I mean to some extent it does, but at the end of the day its a Minecraft map with hard work put into for the purpose of entertaining people. thats most people end goal of a CTM map is, to entertain thier audience. So stop please stop arguing about if its technically a CTM map or not, because all that does is stir up drama.
Please dont get on my case about any mispelling im tired alright, imma make spelling mistakes. But jsut cuz i spell something wrong doesn't make my opinion invalid.
Well thats my two cents on this whole situation, so lets just handle this like civilized people
Completely changing the subject from what CTM's are and other things, I have screenshots! Thoughts?
Looks pretty good! The color scheme is pretty relaxed though, maybe add some other materials in? I wouldn't reccomend using a randomblocks or //replace %, instead i'd recommend making veins in the ceiling of some darker material, say obsidian or netherbrick.
@Mapping tunes: My music taste skips around a LOT, but lately I've been on Kiatzuki, Proleter, Daft Punk and Imagine Dragons.

There ain't much left of the world these days. The gods have forsaken us, there's no denying that. But still you press on. For what? A chance to sift through the ashes one last time? The hope to one day be called a hero? Whatever your reason, you've got a lot of work to do. The corruption won't leave without a fight, so you better get started.

A: thanks!
B: When you say "veins," do you mean stalactites, or blobs of a black material?

I didn't really use veins right here, but I was thinking blobs of a black material. Although, come to think of it, stalactites could look pretty good here. You should experiment a bit.

Me like! That's totally valid English. Though IMO you should add glowstone to the ceiling or move the glowstone that's on the ground - I personally like the aesthetic more and more mobs will spawn (which you may or may not want...)
The water looks nice here, though! I definitely like the idea of dark blocks in the ceiling (coal blocks perhaps if they don't throw off the balance of anything?)
EDIT: Cobwebs could also look nice with the quartz.
Either way, I feel so rotten, I think I'm done making maps.
Ugh... I know I've said something similar to this in the past but really dude? You're overreacting just as I have done.
Also, how would this be?
So you telleport into an area and about 50 block up there is a 5x5x5 block of floating wheat. The wheat would update in a few seconds and poor wheat on to you.
Looks Great. I guess the first was with light on, so try add some lighting to the white ring to make it stand out more
There will be a night vision beacon... I don't think lighting will be a problem, so I am going to remove the glowstone in the ceiling, but if I change my mind, I think adding light at the quartz outlining would be good, thanks
This needs more statues and obelisks of sorts. Definitely. Stone brick?
Like dis bro
Those would look good on the sides of the walkways to the areas, Do you think the hanging down from the ceiling with chains (iron fences) would be too generic and overused? I was thinking floating islands...
Love the signature BTW, who made it?
Comments: Before I start on the negatives of this map I would like to comment on how beautiful it was. Eeriewolf shows what block variation really should be by using a custom clusters of blocks rather than a splatter of blocks. I love it when a map maker can make obvious brush strokes look pretty and Errie seems to excel at that in an area. All of the areas flow into each other which really adds to another level to the map, All the areas are also all unique and provide a reason for a player to continue because without the amazing aesthetics of this map it would have been much worse. Each cavern contains max spawn except for one from my experience but that was because the other nearby areas had already maxspawned. Its labelled as a veteran map but that is not really an excuse for max spawn. There was one variant of a custom mob that was unique but it really didn't make up for the other areas terrible gameplay. It does not look like he used any spawn traps to reduce the crazy amount of mobs that spawn in the map and this shows poor gameplay choices. When creating a hard map make it have a greater challenge by using custom mobs and using different gameplay elements rather than throwing as many mobs as you can at a player. He can fix this by using more honey pots and adding more custom spawners that make the gameplay more unique than just hack 'n slash all the mobs. I also had a problem with the lack of bases and beds. This is a minimap you aren't supposed to set up for the long term so when I left my base at the start I expected to find set spawn buttons or beds maybe an enderchest perhaps even a teleport back to the monument but no, I had to walk back through these gigantic areas and that just got annoying. With the addition of the aforementioned feedback i'm sure this map could be great but in its current state I would not suggest it to a fellow CTMer.

not sure if these will help or not, but it's worth a shot. (and it also rhymes)
My mini-CTM map! It's a fun map, so play it!

I'm not sure if I whooshed myself or you just caused drama by posting that, hypocrite.

Btw does anybody know an in-game NBT editor not needing forge?
Everyone seems to dislike obvious brushstrokes but I forse people will be complaining about erode strokes in the not to distant future.
A base for an intersection... how does it look, going to add more stuff obviously, any suggestions?
Looks Great. I guess the first was with light on, so try add some lighting to the white ring to make it stand out more
That looks really cool but there are pretty obvious erosion strokes. .
I'm sure it will turn out great
Does the entire right side look uneroded?

To get hype for your upcoming map
