I don't really know much about this thread, but I might be able to have something for ya. I am know doing TWISTED LOGIC ♠: GREEN HILL and will probably be done sometime this weekend. If you want it commentated I wouldn't mind.
Michael got me thinking about an SMP server for CTM Central again.
What I've noticed is the more CTM Central develops the more I feel it's a resource of single-player CTM. If you haven't discovered the MCTourney subreddit yet, you should check it out. It's the best resource for RFW maps right now. They even have an awesome-looking server compiled of the best RFW maps in one. Only problem would be finding a team.
That said, It would be awesome to have a server and play regular CTMs as collab. Especially if we had some active youtubers. Also, it would be cool to have a sort of persistent world, a map with tons of resources we could populate and make homes in (when no ones doing a legit CTM run). Infernal Sky II or Vinyl Fantasy enter my head...It would be cool to sort of "populate" a CTM because most people breeze through them, complete the monument, and are done.

Would people be interested in this?
Hey, sure. It would be a great idea. Maybe switching to a new CTM map daily? So we could try a wide variety of CTM maps this way. And I am supporting this idea. Sounds awesome.
I've been thinking I might move some of the older out-of-date series back to the big list (ones where the creator is MIA or lost interest in the series). It's been my intention to have the best & most active series closest to the top. It's really just my OCD kicking in that makes me list every CTM, haha.
Some series I think need commentary:
-Lands of Eternity (bman's been making maps forever!)
-Vinyl Fantasy (think this deserves a 9 rating!)
-Peaceful CTM
-HostileCraft (Naxza's on it)
-Timetoslide's Deathly Lands (the review is really just the first map and it's unfair to judge based on that since there are 8(!) maps now. Has anyone played half of them at least and want to comment?)
I'm on Warrior's Disk and Michael's doing Leafcake's Unforgiving Lands so those are covered.
Yes, please play my other maps :biggrin.gif:... I feel that the maps above Deathly Lands 1 is designed better. But surprisingly The Limit is still the most downloaded map. Also, try not to review Terror Trees yet, I am going to remake that map when 1.2 comes out.

I would be interested! another idea, how about we get the multi-verse plugin and make one world a place for only trusted CTM makers... we could collaborate to make a HUGE map, with records and wool to obtain.

I would love this idea.
Considering how many people like the idea, the matter remains how it would be payed for. I dont have the final say in this (z_bill is in charge of CTM central), but would anyone be willing to pay for the upkeep costs?
By the way, I sent Z_bill a review of unforgiving lands. It should be up soon.
((I saw the Silent Series got moved to the standalone maps, but you forgot to move my review as well. I hope this wasn't intentional! Also really sad to see the Survivalist Haven maps go, they're superb.))
I didn't realize the second map in that series was another multiplayer map until recently, so it's my bad. Sorry to you and lazyboy. It's sort of the wonky way I'm organizing things to blame (also don't want to have a review of a single player map because that opens a can of worms of having to do a lot more. I wait for them to become series to add commentary). Once Silent Series has 2 singleplayer maps your review will def go back up.
And Survivalist going down wiped off a lot your reviewing too. Sucks.
Rating: 7/10
Features: Familiar maps with well-planned challenges and plenty of areas to visit and mobs to cut a path through.
If you're a long time fan of the Super Hostile series, you'll feel right at home with these maps. Unfortunately, the earlier maps may resemble Vechs' series a bit too closely, particularly with the Frozen Lands map, as there are huge influences from Infernal Sky and Sunburn Islands to be found there. The implied difficulty on each of the maps is spot on- you can expect much more trouble in Underground Hostilities than in Frozen Lands, for example. Still, you WILL die again and again if you take a forward approach to any of the dungeons- craftiness will be your armor where equipment fails. In all, you can expect a satisfying play experience from this series, especially if you like thinking your way through or around devilish traps and ambushes.
To those of you wanting to write reviews, this is the way! Thanks a lot Naxza!

That would be awesome! Maybe each CTM mapper has control of their own wool area, sort of a preview to their map series!

Unless someone wants to step up with $$$, I'd probably be the one to set it up, pay, and ask for donations. Going to see if this is viable for me to do once I'm not so busy in a couple weeks.
Yeah if anyone was thinking my maps werent that great, your in for a treat, im completely redoing every map i have and have almost finnished a new one which a few people have alpha tested for me!!! :biggrin.gif:

Hi. Sorry about the not-so-great review. Once all the maps are remade, I will review them again.
Thanks, Naxza for reviewing my map :smile.gif:
Actually, I didn't really care about the aesthetic part of the map as I focused more on dungeons, but as always thanks for the great review :smile.gif:
Thank you so much, this is amazing, I've wanted to do something similar for awhile but you've saved me alot of work, I hope you keep this up, now I have plenty of multiplayer maps to play

That actually sounds pretty cool. I would be down
And I declare myself owner of any snow themed place that vechs puts into future maps.

I could try. PM it to me and I'll see what I can do.
I'll do it, and do a let's play of it (I'll make it unlisted if you want so people who don't have beta test can't see it but you can)
