Yeah, but some of those "minor" updates have screwed up other maps, such as the command blocks in dispensers dont work after 1.8.4, along with several other redstone-related stuff

I designed the map to be compatible with all versions of minecraft. I didn't incorporate anything redstone heavy like the things that you specify. The map works mostly by preset and preplaced command blocks. If it doesn't work with later versions of minecraft, please let me know what is wrong so I can fix it in later versions.
Good map but needs some work. Having something to give the player some feedback in the actual map rather than a text document might be a bit better. Video is uploading now.
Here is the video
Ok, thank so much for recording a video of this. For some reason, on the fourth puzzle the redstone failed to give you 4 saplings. I will make sure I fix this ASAP. I don't really know what happened, seeing as it works fine for me when I play the map. I am extremely sorry for the inconvenience and I will make sure this gets fixed.
Oh, and about the text document, I previously designed the map to clear your inventory after every level so I can't add something like a hint book which is what I would want to do seeing as a hint button would be too tempting to just press at the start of every level.
Again, I am terribly sorry about this. I hope that you can forgive me.
There were supposed to be saplings given to you, but thanks to TheDrunkenArtist I found out that the map wasn't giving them to everyone. When I play tested the map it worked fine, but due to these set-backs, I have made a version 1.1 that redesigns the level in order to hopefully work properly. I am incredibly sorry for the inconvenience that this has given you, and I hope that you can enjoy the map as I originally intended.
Can we get a more specific game version? Too much has changed in the different 1.8.x versions :/
Due to my computer being not so great, I am kind of forced to use Minecraft 1.8.1 with Optifine installed. If there are any other issues with v1.1 of the map, there might be a slight chance that versions could be an issue, though I'm not sure because the map seemed to work fine for me when I switched to 1.8.7. Thank you for your feedback though.
No problem, and the map btw, loved it, we need more like these, but try to add in a hint system, and next time, less sand puzzles >.< they get boring after a while... but other than that, the map was great. It had a balance of challenging and fun!
Also, some of the hints in the hoppers... some people might not understand all of them dude, like the younger kids out there might not know what ACME is or what it has to do with an anvil, sooo yeah

Thank you guys soo much! It means a lot to me that there are multiple people out there that enjoyed what I made and wants to see more. This is a HUGE inspiration for me to make more and I can't thank you enough.
Oh, and btw, I will start work on a sequel to this map as soon as I am done with a parkour map that I am working on.

Didn't know that...

Yeah, went ahead and played it with 1.8.7, and everything seemed ok, but for future maps/forums, try to include a <SPECIFIC> mc version :3
Ok, thank you for your advice.
Awesome Map! I can't wait to see more maps by you! I loved the puzzles!

It's all okay then! I love the map again.
Thank you.
