I'm trying to play this in multiplayer but i don't spawn with anything. I have command blocks enabled.
It just keeps saying

over and over and showing red error signs floating
The red error signs are barriers, showing that you don't have the resource pack enabled.
Also, those messages about playing the effect townaura are completely normal. Those are particles for the map.
I didn't design Simplicity for multiplayer, so I can't help you much here. Just try extracting the resource pack from the map file, then drink an invisibility potion. That should start the map.
The armor stand not appearing and the books vanishing are both strange bugs in the Minecraft code itself, and not in the map. I'm very sorry you ran into it, but I've questioned everyone who ran into this issue and it seems to be unfix-able. Only a rare few get the problem, but when they do it seems persistent.
I ran into this bug on two different computers today so it might be more common than you think (or I just have really bad luck), I even tried to downgrade to the 1.4 version to see if the double book bugfix may be causing it but got the same results, had a lot of fun until then very unique and innovative map, just wish I could fight that epic boss :/
The bone bow was by far the best part of the map. I would have enjoyed it more if the FLAME part was more obvious, or if there was at least a hint for that part.

Glad you enjoyed the bone bow. Unfortunately, you're one of the few people who did. It was a very glitchy mechanic so I had to remove it.
As for the FLAME part, I'm aware that the hint was really bad. In fact, almost all the hints are pretty much worthless. Don't worry, I have a plan to fix this on my next map.
hey, i tried to use this map today. i tried using the earliest 1.6 version of the game and it crashed, then i tried the eldest and spawned here. what am i doing wrong?

Hey, sorry for the late response. I didn't get the notification that you posted a comment.
That issue is from a corrupted world, which is almost guaranteed to have happened because you loaded the map using Minecraft 1.6.
Simplicity was designed for Minecraft version 1.8.4. Give yourself a new version of the map and try it again in 1.8.4.
While it is very fun (I have no idea how you made those little cutscenes, but those were a nice touch) I really think the final boss battle needs a more specific hint.
It seems like most let's players (and myself) just flounder around dying for like 15 minutes until they wind up taking the shield down completely by accident. Also, as CaptainSparklez pointed out, the punchable wall wasn't punchable (since I was in adventure mode). That was pretty easily resolved by swapping gamemodes briefly. Maybe it'd work better with a special item that can only break X block, that's usually how that mechanic works.
Looking forward to more from you, the idea of having the map literally generate in front of you was really unique.

Thanks for the feedback pink.
The boss battle is definitely difficult, and a common complaint is that the shield segment was too confusing. However, I did put the hint potion in the map for a reason. In fact, if you drink it during that part of the fight you'll be given a hint telling you to strike the serpent with his own attacks to break the shield. Not many people use the potion though.
Then there's the punchable wall that every let's player seems to struggle with... For starters, that wall is not actually punchable. If the player sprints into the wall, it will shatter inwards automatically. However, I blame myself for this part since the hint potion often confuses the players even more than before. I've only ever seen one person solve this on their own.
I plan on making hints clearer in my next project.
I'm in the water temple area, and I've flipped the lever. I finished the parkour puzzle with the button, but there's nothing there (Or anywhere else in the entire area) for me to do. What do I do?
*EDIT* Oh. A pressure plate!
*EDIT* Great, the plate does nothing but move the ground a bit.

A self-building adventure map. I didn't even know something like this was possible.

LOL, My minecraft doesn't seem to process the custom crafting table and the weird crafting recipes
So I decided to take a little peek at the final boss, and...my god i need to play this map so bad.
how did you make the cutscenes?

Very nice map ! Amazing work !
I really hope you're gonna make some maps like this one !
The creation of a World caused by our actions is a very good idea.

Um is there a resource pack needed? If so, i do not know where it is ...
The resource pack is embedded with the map. Simply load the map up and start playing!
Hey, I made a two-part video of the map and was interested to see if anyone wanted to check it out!
I need some help:
