The map is just out and yet an update is already here
dolangoobs streamed some bits of it yesterday night (04/13) and it appears that the difficulty set in Hard makes it more than challenging for the beginning.
I will keep the original Map as well for those of you who would like to see what it was like!
Here is what changes in V. 2.0.2 :
1. The beginning has been nerf a bit (substitute/remove some Cave Spider spawners)
2. I added a couple of signs here and there
3. I fixed the deathcounter
4. I added/changed a couple of items in chests
5. I added the Speed Runner Kit
Also I remind you that this map is FULL of small traps and other trolls so watch your steps! Finally, good chests are hidden with good gear. Finding them would help a lot your progression

1. I added a couple of chests with gear 2. I modify the content of some chests 3. I fixed the Beacon! Upon completion of the main monument (4wools) the Beacon finally turns on 4. I added a hint (book) to help find the white wool 5. I made the game-play better and smoother

If you managed to make a successful playthrough in the first version of the map: Congrats !
As you can see it should be a bit easier now and the gameplay should be more enjoyable. I'd be happy if you give it another try and give me some precious feedback!
If you end up replying with a yes it still may be a couple of weeks before i start as i am currently doing a CTM map at the moment and not so sure how long it will take.

Hi, just posting to leave feedback.
I played v2.1.2 of the map on hard difficulty for about 4 hours, and reached the monument with one power stone, but decided to quit with 3 deaths.
Here are the main criticisms I have:
The trolls who wither you and set you on fire with knockback are a huge ramp-up in difficulty. The first time I encountered them, I died twice, as the combo of a strong attack, a DOT attack, and the knockback that knocked me into a dark area with skeletons to finish me off had me go from full hearts to dead in just a couple seconds. I lost some gear (notably all my food) and had to farm for a bit.
The underwater monument surrounded by guardians is ridiculous. I saw the guardians and a spawner, and so I put on the aqua affinity helmet, went down to break a guardian spawner, broke it, but then got killed by guardians in no time flat. My gear was spread along the dark ocean floor and was a pain to recover. I spent another 20 mins carefully trying to break the guardian spawners to make the monument area safe. Then I tried to explore around the monument to find the next area. I went all the way back to the start of the map, and swam to the top of the waterfall above the monument and climbed to the top of the map. Unable to find the next area, I watched LaterNightGamer's video, to discover the intersection was under the monument if I swam down the corners. I then swam down at glanced at a couple of the next areas, but decided I wasn't having fun and quit.
So I guess my main criticisms are 'balance' (the wither/fire/knockback trolls were too tough to be introduced at that point with lots of other enemies; the guardians at the monument are just ridiculous) and 'discoverability' (not being able to find the intersection on my own even with nearly an hour of searching).
I did like the diary that clued to look behind the frozen waterfall, and the location of the first power stone there.
