I'm really enjoying the map so far, and I'm interested in seeing the different parts as I find them, but is there any way to turn off the creepers griefing things all over the place? I don't much like the idea of the map being blown to bits when I can't kill a creeper in time, or is sneak attacks me.
Tried playing the full version of the game, but I can't. It keeps crashing with an Out of memory error. How much RAM does this game need? I'm already letting MC use up to 5GBs and it's still not working.
The strange thing is, it hasn't been. I've tried it several times, and it's like the map keeps overriding the command.
I'm sorry, I forgot it does do that. When the player gets close to the Mausoleum, mob griefing is turned off. When the player then leaves, it puts griefing back on. In order to fix it for good, you need to go into /gamemode 3 to get yourself under the Mausoleum. You could turn your render distance to the minimum if your memory troubles make this difficult. Remove the redstone torch at -225 58 0.

I'm not sure what your render distance is at, or other video settings, but you could disable a lot of the victory monument's redstone loops if the situation is that desperate. You could easily do this by placing all the wool blocks and claiming their rewards later when you actually find them. If you can't run the game long enough to do that, you could let me know and we'll try something else.
Okay. I can do the disable thing on the mini version.
As for the full version, my render distance is only 5, and all settings are at their lowest. I wouldn't even be able to make the in game adjustments, as the game crashes as soon as I start it. It's possible I simply won't be able to play the full version until my new computer is finished.

MCedit could get the job done and it's easy enough to use. We can definitely get the full version working for you, as I think it's worth it.
It's cool. I'm hoping to get my new computer finished soon anyhow. And I don't know that turning off the stuff would really help much, as my current laptop is having problems even handling the mini version, and even just playing regular maps, it's gets really laggy with jungles and any place that has lots of trees and snow.
I just think my laptop is getting too old to handle the fact that MC isn't really optimized as well as it could be, and runs on java.
I am playing on the Realms version, and I cannot figure out how to get the game to say good job or something. I have collected the blocks, but am not entirely sure how to place them.
Hi m0ndy, your map has been wonderful fun so far, and very challenging! The use of cobwebs, vines, creepers, and other traps has made me completely paranoid - I've gotten into a habit of storing critical items in Ender chests before going into any temple, monument, or questionable area. The effort that went into this is amazing. Thank you for sharing your hard work. It's made my holiday vacation a great time.
Bug: I've been focusing on the wool locations and have returned 4 so far (gray, brown, red, and lime). When I returned the lime block, the command blocks did not execute as normal. But I was able to fix it... (in the spoiler below)
...by removing and replacing the redstone torch at location (-209 41 30). Somehow the `testforblock` loop got jammed up and needed to be reset. All other pedestals seem to work.
I tried a fresh new install of the map and could not reproduce the issue. I gave myself all wool and all pedestals worked fine.
In my original game I used the Mausoleum as my base of operations, spending a lot of time going back and forth to it. I wonder if something gets mucked up with some of the tests during chuck loads at random times. One idea: rather than a passive loop to test the blocks, what about an switch that the player must press to activate the command blocks? (take this suggestion with a grain of salt, I'm a relative redstone beginner)
I am playing single player, no mods, Minecraft v1.8.8, and render distance 12.

Refer to the white wool to see if you're placing the blocks correctly. And I'm not sure if Realms automatically enables command blocks. Give that a check!

I used those loops because supposedly they do not jam, but apparently they do very rarely. Interestingly, I think I remember only the lime loop jamming. Could be a very specific bug based on its loop's location. I don't know. Anyways, having a button is ok, but I like the invisibility and "magic" of the /testfor alone.
Other than that, I really like hearing that people are enjoying it. Thanks for coming to post. Happy holidays
So my kids and I have been playing this map, and having an AWESOME time with it. It's so detailed and clever! Looooving it! But I've noticed that Jeeves has disappeared and not come back. I read earlier in this thread that he can wander if the gate is left open. I have looked everywhere for him on the grounds and waited for him to pop up again, but he hasn't so far. Is it possible for him to respawn? We're missing trading with him!
hi m0ndy, I really liked that your map, despite not playing I saw a series on Youtube, and loved it <3, and really wanted you contiunasse to make more maps so that such a new map with the theme: Travel in time, where the weather was shaken, and you had to save him, in every age there are several monuments and places, and defeating all bosses and taking all wool, you desbloquearia a secret was (in the same style as wayward Wonders), good it's just an idea, really wanted you to do a new map for the same Youtuber also make PS: I am Brazilian and how I can not speak very well English'm using the translator, and how the Google translator is not up to snuff, will leaving some little mistakes, okay?

I don't have his summon command but he could be copy/pasted using MCedit. Using a new world you could find his location, copy him in MCedit, and paste him into your existing world.
Edit: On second thought, here's a summon command I just remade. Throw that in a command block and power it. Check the spoiler

I have been fighting the spider at the Taj Mahal. I have shot around 50 arrows with infinity bow, five dogs attacked it, then I cornered it and have been hitting it for 10 minutes and does not seem to die. Is it that strong? Should I keep hitting it? I broke the sword and had to go back to base to try it with a Bane of Arthropods sword.

Good map, but... So i was going along really well i was about half way through with the main monument when i stumbled across what look like a vanilla desert temple i went and explored it thinking it was like the rest of the custom temples so i cleared what i thought was all of the tnt but it wasn't i opened a emty chest and got blown to smithereens into a pool of lava. was totally unexpected wasn't mad but damn... all that time wasted for such an emty death.. kinda annoying
I tried with a Bane of Arthropods III. I hit the spider until the sword broke, hit it with more arrows, dogs, regular sword with sharpness. I poured a bucket of lava and watched the spider burn for over two minutes. At this point I think either it is invincible or something went wrong. Can you please tell me which is the taj Mahal block or how to kill the spider?
I've already find 2 block in mausoleum and coliseum, but when i'm in babylon's garden, i did the trial, win this, fight the boss, but when i open the chest, there's no reward, only the paper which says to kill the boss first....
Even i retry the trial, nothing happened more.
Can you help me plz? (Sorry for my bad english)
