Hello! I'm Dyldozer72(DDozer72) and I am happy to present to you a map I have spent the past month working on. The map is called Warp Drive Malfunction, it is a random teleport map but has many addition features including a store, arena, and a progression system.
Starting Out
You start out in on a ship and activate the warp drive, after a few seconds you will be teleported to a village to begin your journey. The GUI has a count down timer so that you will know when you are going to be teleported next. The beginning rounds has 4 locations; the village, the forest, the jungle, and the desert. The first 4 rounds aren't very exciting but they do have hidden treasures and rooms to find. After 10 rounds of the easy circuit, you will be teleported to your own land.
Your Land
Your land is a 100 by 100 block lot, to build what you wish whether it be farms, crafting areas, etc. On your land is a station where you can choose what you want to do next and a button to enter the store, the game has a built in currency system and a huge item selection. You may then enter the hard circuit.
Hard Mode Activated
The hard circuit also has four locations; the nether, the stronghold, the abandon mines, and finally an underwater monument. The abandon mines is a giant area and accessible from the other areas in case you have already completed them and don't want to waste your time sitting around. After you have built up a good armor set, weapon, and potions, you will enter the arena.
Approaching The End of the Map
The arena is comprised of 10 rounds; each harder than the last, if you die you have to start all over. The Arena has a great deal of prizes if you finish the map. Don't drop any items in the arena, they will disappear. After you have beat the arena you may finish with the Final Boss. The Final Boss is a surprise.
Final Notes
Bring a bow to the Arena.
Check for hints around the map to hidden areas.
Always have food.
Enchant your armor and bring potions to the arena and don't forget a golden apple(they can be bought in the store)
If the timer stops working after you try to teleport from your land, start a set of easy rounds.(Hasn't happened since I changed the system, just in case.)
An animal farm is very valuable, don't forget it.
After you finish an area in the hard rounds, you can skip replaying it by using the button at the spawn point. This will send you to the abandon mines
Most of all, enjoy yourself.

Good luck and I hope you enjoy the map. If you have any feedback, please don't hesitate to message me or post on this thread. Thank you, Dyldozer.
Is the map multi-player friendly? I'll plan on recording my playthrough tonight, although if it's multi-player friendly I may wait till tomorrow and see if I can get someone to join me.
Sorry took so long to reply. Yes it is, the only difference is that in the store the item is given and the credits are removed from the nearest player, I couldn't find a way around that, so just make sure that you are closest to the button to make a purchase.
Sorry it took so long to respond! Overall I really enjoyed this map!
I have one question: what are the blue "warp blocks", exactly?
A few bugs;
- The Jungle warp title say "Junlgle"
- The first set of ten warps, I believe went from Round 4 to 6. I may have missed 5, but I think there was no 5. Why I think this is because the order was Village, Desert, Jungle, Village, Jungle.
- I never got the underwater dungeon in the hard rounds.
- The time that the title is up is way too short. The first time you go to a warp, there is barely enough time to look at the name before it's gone.
- I don't know if you intended this, but the Forest biome was only at the end of the first 10 rounds.
I realize that the map should have been placed under the beta tag because there are a few bugs to be worked out. The blue "warp" blocks are actually no-ai super charged creepers riding each other with the invisibility effect code below:
The skipping of waves has been fixed,I hope, and will be added to the 1.1 version along with a few new features including a Locationamocon(a teleport book) so you can choose where you wish to go.
I will delay the length of the title to make it more readable.
As far as the teleport locations go, they work off a dispenser that randomly selects a command block and dispenses it out, it is a simple RNG system and I am aware that Minecrafts RNG isn't exactly the greatest, the best fix I could do for it was to add multiple sets of the dispensers which has been done for v1.1
I am sorry about the arena not going past wave 3, my guess is that a mob spawned within the area outside the arena and stopped it from going forward, I will adjust the system and add a gamerule change to hopefully fix this.
Again, thank you for the feedback it is very much appreciated!
