Thank you! The day after I was thinking about if Spigot was screwing it up but I forgot to test it. I will sure use the default Minecraft server loader later when I can.
Also could you make the mini-dungeon that appears right before the loader for the Old Tower solo friendly?
It is pretty easy for solo players as long as you have decent fps. Especially after I went back into the are as a higher level, the mob fights were easy! But if it's the puzzle you're talking about, it shouldn't be too hard
Mithey, are you creating this map as you update it, or do you have most of it made and just need to finish it up for your updates? I really really look forward to the first full release to the game and just wanted to get an idea of how soon that would be coming. I understand it'll be a while though, a map like this isn't easy to make
River Salmon buffed from 6 food, 7.2 saturation -> 6 food, 9.6 saturation
Slightly less food given in chests to compensate
Fish that you fish up now have a question mark icon upon reeling them in
Dye drop rate changed from 1% to 0.5%
Added glowing effect to armor stands in road area when you get near them since you can take the armor off them
Slightly nerfed zombie hp in airship event on higher difficulties
Made old tower slightly easier on casual mode
Made old tower parkour section a fair bit more forgiving
Fixed: Advancements "Completed: Old Magical Tower" and "Level 5 (current max)" not properly being given
Added enchanted legs/helm to chests hidden in Old Tower
Some other minor changes, balancing, and bug fixes...
Thanks everyone for reporting things and those who did videos!
If for some reason you wanna update your map (even though there is no new content) you can do so by:
(Note: These instructions will change slightly in Minecraft 1.13)
1) COPY AND PASTE A BACKUP OF THE EXISTING WORLD AND KEEP IT IN CASE SOMETHING GOES WRONG!!!
2) Download newer version of the map
3) Extract the structures folder into the old Chunk Restore world folder, hit replace files in the popup
4) Extract data/loot_tables folder into the old Chunk Restore/data folder, hit replace files in the popup
5) Extract data/functions folder into the old Chunk Restore/data folder, hit replace files in the popup
6) Extract data/advancements folder into the old Chunk Restore/data folder, hit replace files in the popup
6) Extract resource pack (resources.zip) to...
> If on singleplayer - The old Chunk Restore folder
> If on multiplayer - .minecraft/resourcepacks ... Also be sure to select it in game under options -> resource packs ... Also be sure everyone has it
7) Ensure you load the map on the right Minecraft version indicated on the download page - Very important!
8) Recommended reminder: Use optifine if you want custom armor/food textures and better performance!
9) Load up your old map file and you should be good to go! If something seems to have gone wrong then revert to the backup and try again.
If these instructions are a bit unclear then lemme know what is confusing!

I'm creating the map as I update it. A "finished" state likely won't come for a very long time as I can keep on adding things pretty easily. However the map will transition into a beta when Minecraft 1.13 comes out. Also when I'm done of the whole first story chapter the map will likely transition into a release, aka version 1.0, but of course will continue to get more updates past that.
hi, yeah. so here's the thing... this is awkward... I don't know how to download the map... I'm here from Pat/PoppualrMMos YT channel and I really want to play this map for myself before watching it. but I have no idea how to download it... the reason is I'm new to this page... I play Minecraft but have never really visited this page... so help would be apricated, thanks! -Minty
Hey Mithey! Love the map, but when I downloaded the latest update, the food did not change. Some other things, (like the chests) did change but the food and saturation stayed the same. It came up is "map updated to 0.1.1". Did I do something wrong?
Also, can you give me a hint where the lavafloor is?
I think Bukkit, paper, and every other server runner capable of running plugins is subjected to breaking the map too. You may want to advise people to use Minecraft Realms or the default Minecraft Server Loader.
Heya, Mithey. I have a question. So if I played the old version of the map and updated it, everything I owned in my previous version of the map will be updated as well, as like mobile games, right? I just wanna make sure in case you may have forgotten about it.(Sorry, I don't know how commands in Minecraft work nowasyas :P)
Mithey, How were you able to make the character's talk at a certain location? What were the commands used?
Assign a unique scoreboard tag to a villager you want the player to talk to, ie: /scoreboard players tag @e[type=villager,c=1,r=10] add Villager1
Add scoreboard objective for stat.talkedToVillager: /scoreboard objectives add TalkedToVillager stat.talkedToVillager
In a clock have:
/execute @e[tag=Villager1] ~ ~ ~ tellraw @a[r=4,score_TalkedToVillager_min=1] {"text":"Message"}
/scoreboard players set @a TalkedToVillager 0

Can't wait for the next major update!
The chests in your player base and the items that are on you won't change, but items in the world like in the road area would of changed.
Also look for some weird ladders in the player base
I think Bukkit, paper, and every other server runner capable of running plugins is subjected to breaking the map too. You may want to advise people to use Minecraft Realms or the default Minecraft Server Loader.
Yeah probably, I think part of their problem may be that they don't handle the new functions feature very well.

You'll keep everything yes, but if an update buffed or nerfed certain items then those items won't be changed if they are in your inventory or in the player base chests.
hey their i was asking about the terra restore 2 download links i asking if you were updateing the map tp "Ep 4" or it is broken. Thanks for reading this
I just finished the game of the Chunk Restore v0.1.1.
It is incredible! How do you did that amazing map!? I love it so much!!
I cannot wait to see next update!
I have 4 questions:
1) Everytime I open the world, the message will show "Welcome to Chunk Restore, the ever expanding...."
But is it correct to see "Did not detect a new map version installed"?
2) It looks like I can take lots of Sturdy Fishing Rod, but it is unbreakable.
Why let player can get lots of it?
3) I found if there is a monster spawn (in Chapter0, there is a monster zombie spawn can be broken), player can use pickaxe to break it.
However, I am in single player map, the generate rate of zombie is too fast to close to the spawn.
Is it possible to decrease the generate rate when detect there is only one player?
4) Just curious, where did Fred go? I thought I can see his house and his food XDDD
One bug maybe?:
a) In the game setup description, it didn't mention the volume of music should be turn off. But I did hear the minecraft's background music and the resourcepack music playing together. It should not be happened, right?
Or it is necessary to turn off the volume of music?
Hey, AppleHsu. Let me answer your question.
1) Everytime I open the world, the message will show "Welcome to Chunk Restore, the ever expanding...."
But is it correct to see "Did not detect a new map version installed"?
Yes, it is normal. However, if you updated the map, it will show a msg which inform you that the map has updated.
2) It looks like I can take lots of Sturdy Fishing Rod, but it is unbreakable.
Why let player can get lots of it?
It's for all the players who decided to play co-op! That way, it's fair enough!
One bug maybe?:
a) In the game setup description, it didn't mention the volume of music should be turn off. But I did hear the minecraft's background music and the resourcepack music playing together. It should not be happened, right?
Or it is necessary to turn off the volume of music?
Yeah, you have to turned off Music in the Volume Settings.
New feedback poll for longer areas, difficulty, and lag is now up. I'm pretty sure the general consensus is that people want longer dungeons, but we will see. It's also rather hard for me to gauge the difficulty and lag of maps at times so that's up there too.
I went ahead and finally redid the whole exp/leveling system for Chunk Restore yesterday. There isn't really much of anything notably different, it's just way better organized now in a function format and no longer gives me headaches with how I somehow used to have it setup lol.
However I have been considering some sort of option that you can turn on where if you die you will lose some of your experience, and you could even potentially drop down a level. Basically such an option would be for the people who want a more "hardcore" experience. I've also noticed some people really don't care about dying either, especially during the prior food issues. So maybe I'd even have it as a mandatory thing, though I'd probably make it so you can't go below 0% exp for your current level. As with the other death penalties it wouldn't trigger in boss fights/events too. Anyway, still thinking about that all.
Anyway, I've been now starting to organize and get working on the next update. Right now I'm thinking it will likely contain:
Another "road" style area - This one I'm considering making longer than the other
Recipe system implemented - Or at least a temporary placeholder system until we wait for 1.13
Restoration event system implemented
Mistwood added in as the first real town - Will likely contain a minigame and a couple of quests among other things
Another dungeon likely connected in with Mistwood
Other things that are a possibility in next update or possibly for a future one:
Another road area and another dungeon - Again might be pushed for next update after this one
Patreon town - Just a small place with villagers of people who have supported me on Patreon
Fishing advancement tab - Keep track of all the different things you caught and what you didn't catch yet. Mainly just a thing for people who want to complete extra goals Could maybe even attach some small reward to some of the stuff, we will see
Map translation support - All /say, /tellraw, /title, /give, and /replaceitem commands inside an organized function folder
I believe that's all, feel free to lemme know if you have any ideas for things though! Sometimes I take some ideas that fans suggest ^^

Yeah I could probably make that skeleton spawner spawn less for those on singleplayer
Also I'm sure you will see Fred again in the future too
Mithey, in the post before your last one, you mentioned that nothing in the player's inventory or base chests would get buffed/nerfed. Is there any way around that? It may cause a little bit of grief to the player if the sword they just picked up got buffed but they can't do anything about it now, therefore not being balanced to the challenges of the next dungeon/road.
Or, is it okay that nothing in the base updates because you're just going to go out adventuring and find a better sword anyway?
Thanks again for creating this map! So much fun even though it's only an hour long! ^-^

Yeah, I've been considering about the fact about the dead penalty. My suggestion about it is that losing exp and gold (or even levels) ranging from the difficulties. Also, we have to consider about the Infinity Lives during boss fight, I'm not sure if it's worthy or not to have it on.
Speaking about fishing advancement, you can also put something such as combat, parkour etc. to make it more satisfying! Just my opinion.

Oh dang, first person on page 83 too...
There are some things I could potentially do to have it so the stuff in the player's inventories get buffed/nerfed too. However stuff stored in the chests or armor stands in the player base gets a lot more tricky.

Already done ^^
It is solo friendly, though a little on the slightly tricky side

In the main post basically download whatever map you want, and then extract the zip into your Minecraft saves folder. https://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Tutorials/Map_downloads should help more if you need it

Bj0902, Mithey decided to discontinue making TR2. It's a sad news to hear that.

I loved Terra Restore 1 and 2 so figured I would try out Chunk Restore. Here's my first episode:
Keep up the good work!

I found this map and I'd love to play it
Thanks.
Edit: I figured out how now
