After the success of my previous two maps, it is time to release a new "classic" CTM map, where the goal is to complete the monument with all 16 colors of wool.
This map is awesome! It starts out easy, with the loot. Then I get a creeper to sneak up on me at I1 and then I see that damn Magenta Wool area :l
So area by area review-
White- Very nice, altogether good area, maybe make MORE chests instead of one good chest just so the player can explore. The wool itself was fine. I don't know what the tree area was with the traders. Are they important or something?
Orange/Monument- I was worried when I fell off the vines(i wasn't looking down). But I quickly got out of the water and completed the area. Again, not too bad. Monument should honestly be changed to Mushroom Island biome, it's not very good to have a random creeper blow up your base/monument.
Magenta- Damn skeletons. I had 2 deaths in this area. Those dang skeletons just did so much damage and could go through 1 block holes due to the pigs. I get knocked off a cliff, beat to death, holy crap. But the difficulty bump was very nice! I loved this area too.
So, I'm heading to Light Blue next. I hope the rest of the map is as good as it is now!
I decided to record myself playing through your map, and I must say, you did a great job. As of posting this, I am in the process of getting the pink wool and I'm just loving the difficulty curve. At first, I thought this map was going to be a breeze, but as I progressed, I was surprised at the difficulty curve, good show!
Aesthetically, I love it, coloring the walls to match the wool color was a great idea and the room fillers are both fitting and serve purpose.
A couple quick things to note; It would have been a little more immersive if the different areas had names, and finally, I think there is a bug with snapshot 14w26c where the (*spoiler*) return portal from the end does not appear under the pink wool. If you change versions, then they reappear, just something to note.
Keep up the good work, hope to see more in the future.
Haven't gotten too far yet; I'm only at the tree village (which I really like btw). Just had a weird bug and I don't know if it's related to something you did or purely a snapshot thing.
Parts of the village keep resetting every time I save, quit, and log back in. So far I've only noticed the first tree where the guy sells blocks, the tree with the warning about the drop, and the last tree where the double chest is do this. Any blocks/torches/beds/etc I put down disappear. And in the last tree the chest restocks. The weird thing is I've built bridges between the trees and for the most part they're fine and don't disappear. However a bridge between the double chest tree and
the tree with the flame bow + 2 stacks of arrows
will get cut in half with any blocks past some line on the side of the double chest tree just disappearing every time I relog.

Just wanted to let you know we reviewed/talked about your map on our podcast a couple weeks ago.
We realized over the weekend we've been reviewing maps on our show, but haven't been letting the map developers know. So if you want to check it out, you could find it at the link below. It should be somewhere around 00:38:45
Hey does anyone have any idea what might be causing the bug I mentioned earlier? I've waited for a couple snapshot versions but it hasn't been fixed yet. I'd prefer to get that sort of thing fixed before continuing so I can build in the areas I've been to.
