I can't think of anything other than it just being your computer. I just tested it again and we've definitely fixed the lag with peaceful mode during the daytime in v1.02.
weird, other maps are working fine. But anyway, your map is really good, even with lag, props for that!
Basically, what happens is hostile mobs are always trying to spawn. They have nowhere to spawn during the day because it is too bright on the surface of the islands and there are no caves. But they keep trying. That's what causes the lag, hostile mobs trying to spawn but not finding anywhere they can.
That's why we did the whole peaceful thing. That way hostile mobs do not try to spawn during the day where they can't. Why this isn't working for you, I don't know. Sorry about that.
As always, posting screenshots, videos, etc. of our maps is highly appreciated. If you have any questions, concerns, or comments we'd be happy to help you.
Please don't hesitate in reporting any bugs as well. Thanks!
What is it? During the game blocks will reappear after being destroyed, or disappear after being placed for a few seconds before doing what they're supposed to be doing. Block lag, shaky sun, and shaky mobs are all side-effects of this problem.
What causes it?

What does the map do about it?
We set the game to peaceful during the day, the only time where there is no place for mobs to spawn, so they stop trying. For whatever reason your game may not turn peaceful or the problem will persist after it is peaceful. To see if the game is in peaceful mode, run around. If your hunger bar shakes but doesn't deplete you are in peaceful.
I'm in peaceful, but it still happens!
There are still many things we do not know about this issue. Processor and computer power may be a factor. If it's still happening, it may be because your computer cannot handle the map.
I'm not in peaceful, but I should be!
During the day you should be in peaceful mode. If you've used the test above and you are sure you are not in peaceful mode during the day, please tell us! Include your method of playing (Singleplayer, multiplayer, Bukkit, etc.) and if the solution is fixed after the first day of gameplay. Bukkit is not supported until they get the place block command. If you want a faster solution, try completely restarting the game. Download the latest version and play again.
If you have any more questions, please post below.
I'm trying your map with a friend of mine.
We have lags during the day, when the game is in peaceful.
We tried to wait a day to see if the lags persist, they do.
We manually changed the difficulty and lags are present both in peaceful, easy or difficult.
The lags cause overload on the processor.
We currently play in hard.
Do you have any idea of the origin the problem, and most importantly, how to solve it?
Thanks,
Eorana
The only thing I could think of would be to dedicate more RAM to both Minecraft and the server. If this doesn't work it may just be that your computer(s) cannot handle the map. We would fix this if we could but as of now there is no way to fix this.

We've released an alternate version that includes a bedrock box underneath each island for the mobs to spawn. Please try it and let us know if it fixes/lessens the problem.
Block lag is unbearable. Tried to play for an hour 3rd day still block lag playing latest version. I get 300+ fps. Might try bedrock version, but probably not. Neat concept, poor execution and boringly simple islands. Maybe also give rewards for completing challenges.. Also need at least a 10 sec delay before teleporting player. Instant teleport gives no time to retrieve items being smelted in furnaces forcing player to micro manage smelting only one item at a time to reduce possible wating for hours to be telported back to where you ad your last furnace.

Thanks for trying at least. The lag is not our fault, as we've said. The islands are biomes, it's up to you to make them interesting. Just like in normal Minecraft.
Three achievements give you awards, the ones with cracked brick surrounding them. The rest are to unlock the ultimate reward once you get them all.
The bedrock version doesn't seem to do anything, unfortunately. Blame Mojang.

I still don't think the block lag has to do with the way mob spawning works. If what you were saying was the case, then wouldn't be lag like crazy in superflat too?
I posted a message on the map there a few days. I tested it with a friend. Meanwhile, we have completed the map, so we just give you our opinion on it .
Thanks for the feedback, we really appreciate this, and do intend to improve the map as much as we can. There are a few things I would like to explain concerning what you don't like.
First off, the map was to be a variation of survival. The teleporter room was added in as a final reward, hoping to increase the playability at end game.
The randomness of the teleportation timer ( between 2 and 30 minutes) Teleportations too much randoms ( sometimes twice on the same island )
The whole idea of Tick-Tock Survival is to be on edge of your seat, being afraid at all times, and not knowing when you'll be teleported next! We designed the teleporter to be random, and infrequent to accomplish that.
But in all, I sincerely thank you for spending some time to give us feedback, it really motivates Team Plus to continue working and improving!
Are you on a server? If so, it's probably server lag. Try playing in singleplayer.
Does it continue past the first day?
Hmm... And you're positive you're using version 1.02?

Keep in mind this is not the main version of the map. It may be buggier than the original. Please provide feedback.
