The water level was probably the most irritating thing ever i cheated and flew to the end and still wasnt ablt to figure out what to do so i have absolutely no idea and better yet i cant even be like "screw it" cause there is NO WAY back to the overworld. retarded. You finished a puzzle, pull the lever ,and it just teleports you back, gives you zero idea of what you need to do.
Love the map so far. The puzzle's are great, they're challenging yet solvable. The voice acting is great, its funny. We hit a point were I ran out of space and we lost a whole bunch of footage and have to re-do the part we didn't get recorded. It's okay I want to play it again. We also stopped before we finished the map, I already want part 2 or the next map from you two. Great job and I hope that our Let's Play will show how much we enjoyed the map.

The water realm is probably one of the only areas where we decided not to show the player the way fully. You need to do all four rooms in the realm to unlock the boss, which you probably could have figured out if you took some time to explore, and see the lights in front of the hall you completed light up. You can get back to the overworld once the boss is dead. I'm sorry if you had trouble finding the way, perhaps we could have made it more obvious, but the whole realm is something of a puzzle (which I know from watching your vids you're not a big fan of them).
If you really want to cheat your way through everything, go into all of the rooms and skip everything to pull all the levers, and that will give you access to the boss that drops the disc, that brings you back to the overworld. I saw through your vids you aren't abject to cheating (spawning in high tier weapons etc), so if you are sick of the water realm, that's how to skip it. Seems to defeat the point of playing the map though...

That was pretty hilarious, thanks for playing the map and we look forward to seeing more XD Just an FYI, the map was made by McCrafterMr (me) and NovAurora (my partner in crime) Flaryeth is just my Minecraft.net user. Out of curiosity, how far did you guys get into the map before having to restart? Must have been awful without the voice acting lol

Oh, oops I'll go fix that. And we got almost all the way through water before I realized I was out of space to record but we recorded the last little bit of the water temple. Although we may just redo the who map an record from where we left off in Episode 1.
And yeah we completely got through AIr the firs time around without realizing the voice acting was never present. Hehe.

Yeah that would kind of wreck the map... Well good luck however you end up going about it lol, I look forward to seeing more vids
Okay so I pulled all the levers and the maze part isnt lighting up, plus i think i broke the boss spawner, is there ANY way for me to continue?
Yes, above the main chamber there is a floating structure, with the boss on top. To reach him in vanilla you had to swim up the water in the center of the room against the back wall, the levers released the water. Kill the boss, take and play the disc, and there's a portal back to the Overworld in there with the realm heart. If the boss is glitched for some weird reason, break the diamond block in the center of the floating platform, which is pulled back when you kill the boss, and that'll get you the realm heart and the Overworld.

Just to let everyone know, based on the feedback we have received so far, and having watched plenty of videos of people having issues, we have released a patch we hope will resolve some of the broken game mechanics. Thank you for all of your support so far, and we hope to make this map a much better experience for everyone who plays it from now on. If you have any bug reports, please post them here to we can fix the bugs ASAP.
I downloaded this map some time ago, and I must say so far the game is amazing, especially in combination with the resource pack
The weapons do break very easily (in my opinion), but that makes the adventure even more adventurous in a way, more daring, so to speak. You have to know when to sue your weapons and when not to. Though it is a bit frustrating when your weapon breaks and you have to continue to punch a bunch of zombies. Especially when you're in a boss fight xD
There are some minor bugs, but those could have indeed by now been solved with the latest update. A few bugs I recall I'll just summarise here now: +Horse and rope: Even though the rope isn't visible, the horse is still stuck to the post. +No-attack-hits towards enemies. +Beacons give no light until you 'activate' them.
Besides the bugs, which are not really preventing me to continue the game (seeing as you can fix the 'No-attack-hits' bug by quitting the map and starting it up again) there isn't much to 'complain' about. +The air map was very nice, light, beautiful and a nice introduction to the rest of the game play of the map. +The water map was very interesting with the quiz questions. I usually am very 'pessimistic' towards these kind of quizzes, because I don't have much luck figuring out the answers, but keeping in mind it was a water map, I actually could answer the quizzes and progress It was clear to me in the end why there were 'mini-quests' that had to be done,so you could reach the boss and get the heart of that area. +The earth map is where I am now. I think it's one of my favourites. I like the environment the best, that you can (if you want to, isn't a prerequisite) ride a horse and give it a name and hook it up to a post/pole. Gives the feeling more towards the player that you have some sort of say in the game play, you can kind of personalise it, which is a nice thing The only thing that bugged me with the earth map is the part were you have to jump for the first time over some poles/fences which hang above lava. At the end of that, if you just kind of jumped past the pole, you would either land in the lava or land in a kind of 'hole' under the piece of land you had to reach. There was no way to reach where you had to be from that place. The only thing you could do was fall to your own doom by committing suicide (so to speak). Perhaps it's an idea to either fill up that hole or for a next map: To maybe make a complicated puzzle there. If people succeed, a path will be shown to the player and he/she will reach eventually the part of land where he/she has to be. And if he/she gets fed-up with the puzzle, that they can still go back and die from the lava.
This is the best way I can explain the idea, so I hope it makes sense
I also enjoyed the side-quest you could take in the earth map with the 'Three Sisters'. I think this map gives the player the most feeling (so far) of interaction, kind of free-will and so much more.
I still haven't finished playing it, and I plan on writing more about this map when I do. I already suggested a friend to also play this map
Hope to see more maps of you ^^
Awesome review, thanks for the great feedback! It has been a while, a few things in your post have been addressed through patches. The first of which I would mention is the fact we made weapons more durable at the beginning, players shouldn't fight a boss with their fists XD. The last minor bugs you mentioned we can't do a whole lot about, and are related to Minecraft's random bugs. We spent a lot of time trying to fix them, but instead had to modify the environments around the small bugs, to make them less noticeable (very annoying).
As for the earth realm tunnel sections, we tried to get rid of all of those little holes that mess you up, but of course there are probably half a million more we don't know about, so we'll take a look to try and solve it.
Thanks again for the review, and we hope you have a good time in the fire realm

I am stuck on one of the rooms, it has a puzzle saying: [The moon controls my every move with some help from the sun. Both high and low, you note my flow. You've seen me come, you've see me go.] and I cant get though it!
Edit: Never mind, I got though it

Very cool, if you do post the first vid on here so I'll know, and I'll add you to the YouTuber list in the main thread
