Hey there, my name is Jim, I create custom minecraft maps. If you're interested in having your very own map created just message me here on this thread. I charge by map size per map. Meaning that if you need me to create an end map and an overworld map, I'll charge for 2 maps depending upon their size.
Why should you choose a custom map from me?
1. You cannot get a custom map anywhere else at this price with this level of attention to detail.
2. You'll have access to view the map after I create it and before you pay for it.
3. All maps are allowed a single revision so if you see the map and don't like something, you can change it!
4. And lastly, I'm fast, I'm able to get the map back to you by the next day or sooner in most cases.
2500x2500 = $5 - or for you advertising my services
3000x3000 = $10
3500x3500 = $15
4000x4000 = $25
5000x5000 = $35
Thats as big as I'm willing to do for the time being.
Map size is length and width along the sides not distance from spawn.
Every custom biome or tree that is not default minecraft is an additional dollar.
-Here are links to custom tree repositories: custom trees or fantasy trees.
-Custom biomes consist of pretty much anything you can think of...even blocks that don't exist in default minecraft. Planning on using a mod that adds extra blocks? I can do that too!
Things you can customize that don't cost anything extra:
- ground level (default is 58)
- water level (default is 62)
- resource generation percentages (default settings are: gold 1%, iron 6%, coal 10%, lapis 1%, diamond 1%, emerald 1%, water 1%, lava 2%, dirt 57%, gravel 28%, redstone 8%)
- surface material and depth (default is grass with a min depth of 3 and max of 7)
- underground material (default is stone)
- bottomless world (default is bedrock)
- border with void, lava, water or bedrock wall
- I will always create a map as a landmass within an ocean unless otherwise stated due to the fact that the world I create will not mesh up with the world minecraft will generate outside of it and will leave with an ugly border best hidden by water.
- There is no limit to what you can add in the way of terrain features, so go ahead and add as many as you want as wild as you want!
To create your map I simply need an image you painted in paint, a scanned drawing, or a map you've found online, if you want certain biome's in specific places you need to indicate that as well. Labels are preferred but not necessary. The more detailed you are the the less I'll do it wrong.Thanks for your interest!
