Hey man, Its a really fun map! Heres the next episode!
Thank you! I'll put those up on the front page tomorrow.
Also, I've got to let you guys know that you've passed the edge of the built map and into the ordinary random worldgen by the end of these videos. You should stop right where you are, turn west, and go back. That desert is about the furthest east that the builds get. You'll find more things back in the desert as well as further west, north, and south, but if you keep going east like you are now, you're beyond the range of any Nyvarld structures.
I've tried to keep the structures all built in a rough circle around spawn so that if you go out from there in any direction for about 1000-2000 blocks, you'll find the structures. Beyond that, though, you're just in normal worldgen terrain.
So, hopefully you'll see this before you record your next video.
The guys from DestrudoGaming have recorded Episode 4 of their Nyvarld Let's Play! In this episode they go back to the fishing hut from the last episode after wandering off the built map, and head back into the jungle, finishing up near an unknown structure of some sort.
Well, I know it's a lot more than 100, but I don' have the full count yet. I started counting last week before I had everything finished and I had to stop a little after 100, but I still had a few more biomes worth of places to count. The full count might be 125 or 130? Maybe more? I'll try to finish the count later and let you know what I come up with. Although at this point there are so many spread around that I'm that even I've forgotten some of them!
Unfortunately I really don't know anything about coding and am just not able to make them randomly spawn. I've spoken before with one of the guys who makes the Blue Vanilla mod and he explined a little bit about how I might be able to do it, but I think I'd just be so out of my depth and I don't know that I'd be able to get the structures to spawn as nicely in the world as I would like. At least when I place them myself in Nyvarld, I know that they look good with the surroundings and match the biomes and potentially relate to nearby structures in fun secret ways.
However, if anyone has a mod that imports structures and uses them to randomly generate in maps like the current structures, and wants to use some of the Nyvarld structures, just let me know and be sure to credit me (and/or the original creator/inspiration for that structure as listed in the credits).
But thanks for the kind words and I'm glad you're enjoying the map!

Looks like the guys from DestrudoGaming are back on track and at it again! In Episode 5, the guys stumble upon a series of treehouses in the jungle, surrounding a small lake that's teeming with melons. There's so much to explore there that they can't even fit it all in this episode, so you'll have to stay tuned for Episode 6 for the rest of it!
It Was Fun And I Like The Structures But Some Were VERY Hard To Find.Otherwise i Liked It Alot.
Thanks for comiing back and giving your thoughts! I really appreciate it!
I've decided that on my next map, there will be some roads, signs, and lore books spread around to help people find their way around a bit more easily. I tried to space the structures apart in such a way that you felt like running into them wasn't to much different than running into things in vanilla. Lots of empty space to build but sometimes you run across something new and interesting. And I tried to also make sure that there wasn't too much empty space between them. I think I thought of people using it more like a vanilla map to build in, just with new fun structures to discover if they wanted to adventure and explore. Instead it's become a more fun game of finding as many structures as you can, which isn't quite what I was prepared for. But that's fine. This is good to know for the future!
Anyway, thanks again for taking the time to check out my map!
I've updated the front page to add the recent new videos by DestrudoGaming. Check them out when you get some time!
There also might be new Nyvarld Let's Play videos coming soon from TeamPnB and The Couple Games, so keep an eye out for those and stop by their page to show some love. They've got some great channels with very entertaining videos.
I've just stumbled upon some new videos on Youtube featuring Nyvarld by a user named theorigin97. In these videos, he and his mates try out the world and begin building and trying to survive near spawn in a small wooden cabin they've discovered, while one of the trio continues exploring, wandering almost 1000 blocks off and finding all kinds of other structures.
I see the maker of Too Many Biomes has included a vanilla compatible world provider that can import savegames as dimensions and preserves the generation features (including seed) of the new dimension.
Its just (afaik) a world provider so you still need to use a mod like Mystcraft / Dimension Doors (and some admin access) to setup a transport hub for your players.
@SpookyHappyFun - when playing on view distances lower than "far" the giant statue in the ocean that greets new players is out of sight. I think that Nyvarld could do with something at spawn to help assure players that the import process has worked and they are in fact on a premade map

That is a really cool mod! Thanks for linking it here, as I hadn't heard of it before. I'll have to try it myself!
As for the colossus, I had noticed that in all of the Let's Play videos that I've seen of Nyvarld so far, not one of them have actually seen it yet. I had assumed that that would be the first thing that everyone saw, especially since it's the signature image for the world.

And, of course, after I wrote this I discovered a new video featuring the colossus! This one is by Dark of DarkandDona.
There's a new Let's Play video of Nyvarld from CrafterCoops as part of his "Coops Plays Customs" series! In the first video he finds an an old destroyed house, a stone colossus, a village, and a small neighboring fairy circle near the woods. Check it out!
I've updated the front page to include some of the new Nyvarld videos that have been created recently by some adventurous YouTubers and Minecrafters! I look forward to adding more!
If you've played Nyvarld, leave a comment here and let me know what you think of it. And if you'd like to feature Nyvarld in a video or series, please leave the link here and I'll be happy to add it to the front page so people can see your work!
Theorigin97 is back with his mates exploring Nyvarld in their third video. In this one, we get a glimpse of the far off desert and desert village tavern that his friend has discovered, while more work is done on expaning the log cabin that is their house.
Thank you! I'll put those up on the front page tomorrow.

Thanks for the info! I'll have to look him up.
