I'm sorry, but the Minecraft forums somehow messed up big time and ruined the first post here, making it into a jumble of incomprehensible nonsense. Please bear with me as I try to get it fixed.
Meanwhile, if you want to download the map, here are the two links to download it - again, sorry for the inexcusable appearance, but I had absolutely no control in preventing this.
1. The 1.6.3 update is out now! Changes are in the changelog! 2. Yes, the voice acting stops halfway through the map, but it's not a bug - I just couldn't add it for several reasons. You'll have to read the dialogue from that point onward. 3. You may notice, at the end of the map, a notice about a game+ mode... This feature was cut for now, but may be added eventually...
Welcome to Mystery of the Pumpkin Castle - an adventure map that will certainly surprise you! This little trip into the depths of Crepuscule Town will allow you to discover a world of eternal night where everyone is always happy - except when they die. Look, even the moon smiles!
If you're interested in a quick little adventure, lasting around an hour or two, designed for one player but suitable for a few, you've come to the right place! This map features a sumptuous little story, nicely-designed builds, a handful of custom textures and narration files for every book in the map!
If the concept pleases you, you are welcome to give it a try! Come forth and lose yourself in this mysterious world...
The rules are as simple as they can be.
1. Don't break blocks unless told to.
2. Don't place blocks at all (except for torches).3. Play on easy, normal or hard.
4. You are allowed to craft and enchant.
5. You must use the resource pack (included in the download).6. If you play in multiplayer, "enable-command-block" should be set to "true"! Otherwise, you won't get anywhere.
7. Don't die too much.
That isn't too bad, is it? Also, in case these details matter to you, you should disable clouds, play with a far render distance, play with your sound up and your music down, raise your brightness to the maximum and be absolutely sure to use the resource pack. This is not a joke, I promise.
Here are a few screenshots of the map, if you want to have a better idea of what it looks like. They're absolutely gluten-free!
Here, you can find some of the comments and reviews this map has gotten over time. I'll select whichever ones I like the most, so be sure to share your thoughts after playing! I must say, I wasn't expecting the map to be so enjoyable so well done for that.
- biggiewilson Unfortunately, I did not have the time to finish the beta completely, but simply from what I played I can say that this map is amazing! It's very well polished and the builds are beautiful. Everybody needs to play this ASAP.

This is original! The aesthetics are also very good. And thanks to 1.6 and It's addition of resource packs, It is 100 times more amazing. I jumped when the spooky voice told me to not jump on the counter again. I give thismap a 10/10.

Debating if I should wait for the 1.6 version or not...
It's the first TMM map, which was mostly worked on in February/March, but tested and modified a lot throughout this month. If I were you, I'd simply play the 1.5 version, because I'm not sure how much would change by the 1.6 update!
When I try to open the ZIP, it says 'The archive is either in unknown format or damaged'
That's bizarre. Are you extracting the files from the zip, or just opening it? Because if I try extracting the files as usual on my side, it works fine. Can you give a screenshot of the error message itself?

Hey I did a LP of your map the first part is out about 50 minutes after me writing this. The rest will come out in the following days as I record edit and play, probably not in that order.
Could you please link my LP in the videos sections of your thread as it will help us both out.
I am lagging quite a bit. How exactly do I download optifine?
Hmm, it's pretty much like most other mods. If you read the thread's first post, mostly around the beginning, it should tell you how everything works! You could also ask on the thread for further help. The first things you should do would be to disable bobbing in your regular options, set the render distance to short and make the smooth lighting lower.

Thanks for the playthrough! Haha, that was quicker than expected. I'll give it a watch when the processing is done! I'll also add it to the main post.
Just finished playing through this with a friend, we recorded it so look forward to see it
I must say, I wasn't expecting the map to be so enjoyable so well done for that.

Thank you for the optifine link. And is it just me or is the spoilers on the first post not working?
Some people said that in the past on other threads, but I think it may be because of a problem on your end. It might be because the page hasn't finished loading on your end, so the "show" button near the spoiler hasn't appeared yet. If you click them, it should expand the spoiler. If it doesn't... it's odd.

The "Show/Hide" button appears for me but when I click on it, It doesn't show the spoiler... All it does is change the "Show" to "Hide" or the "Hide" to "Show"..... Help?

Sure. The first one is the message I get when I try opening it with WinRAR, the second is the message for trying to extract the files, and the third is when I try to open it with Windows Explorer.
EDIT: It seems to think that there are no files in the ZIP.

Maybe it's just your connection that takes too long to show what's inside. Sorry, but I don't think I can modify that! :S

That sure is strange, because I never saw that happen. I do notice that you placed the .zip in a folder named "pumpkin", but I don't know if that could have an influence on it. Normally, it should just allow you to get the files out... the files being a few folders and a .txt file. Maybe you could try the .rar instead and see what happens?

Yeah, I put it in the pumpkin folder to isolate it while I was trying to figure out how to open it. I was thinking about downloading the .rar, but my internet is always kinda slow, and we've reached our max bandwidth, so it's extra kinda slow. The download page wouldn't even load. I guess I could try, though...
