Actually, the witch's hut would make things too difficult for ME. It was hard enough finding a 2x2 clump of slime chunks that coincided with a Nether Fortress. The idea of ALSO coinciding with a witch's hut makes my head swim. Sadly, you can't place huts and fortresses, you have to just take what the game gives you.
I was looking at the code to see if I could automate the seed testing somehow and apparently witches just can't spawn on flat maps, so even if you find the correct seed it wouldn't help.
(The method to look, if anyone wants to confirm this, seems to be net.minecraft.world.gen.ChunkProviderFlat.getPossibleCreatures; compare with net.minecraft.world.gen.ChunkProviderGenerate.getPossibleCreatures, which is the one for normal worlds.)
I'm continuing with my series (finally) with part 4. In it, I fumble through the Nether and don't get much done. I do get a blaze rod, though, and see the need for a mob farm. I also die twice, and it's tragically hilarious the 2nd time.
I've already recorded part 5 and it'll be up some time this weekend.
I just don't get one thing... How am I supposed to get a emerald?
The most plausible solution that I can think of is:
1) Make a potion of weakness
2) Make a golden apple
3) Cure a zombie villager
4) Hope that he got a trade which give me emerald
Am I thinking way too hard and there's a simplest method or is it that hard/long/complicated to get it?
That is *almost* the only way to do it. Instead of your #4 though, do this:
4) If you get a trade to get you an emerald, great. If not, continue:
5) Build a village (or just a breeding area) so the 2 villagers you now have will breed.
6) Make the village very large.
7) Prune (aka kill) villagers you don't think you'll ever trade with.
8) Eventually you'll get a trade you can make (wheat, paper, coal, or even iron)
This seems like a lot of work (and it is) but you're not *just* getting an emerald to buy the shovel. You're making a source of a LOT of stuff, including redstone (which is not available in the map at all) and an unlimited source of easy iron (If you work out a good way to kill golems), not to mention food, diamond tools, diamond armors... Yeah, lots of stuff
And now that I need to make a cauldron, I regret using one of my iron for the flint&steel.
Also, is there any redstone hidden somewhere?
You can get unlimited iron once you get enough villagers to get iron golems, and redstone is a pretty common villager trade. There is no redstone (or iron) in the map, though.

Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Help me! The evil is taking me away,
its pulling me into the darkness.
Please help me, if I go in there
I will never come back, the world
is slowly drifting away. All I can
see is the pain and sorrow in my
eyes. My tears are drying up. I'm
already gone....
I was about to go and capture my second villager when suddenly I walked into the first one and POP
He jsut fall throuh the world -___
Is there any way that I can spawn one that was the same as him If I go in creative mode?
Not at all easily, sadly. If you know how to use MCEdit, you can (in creative mode) make a chest, put a shovel, emerald, and silk-touch-enchanted shovel into it in the exact places, and then in mcedit use the "create shop" script to make the villager. That's how I made him originally.
Though, while he is the EASIEST way to get a silk touch shovel, he is by no means the ONLY way. Other random villagers will sometimes enchant for you or sell you enchant books, and you also may be able to enchant your own shovel with silk touch. All of those are far harder to do than using the starting villager, sadly.
How i am supposed to light the end portal? in the wiki it says to put down 12 portal frames and leave a 3x3 area inside those .. i tested in a flat world but it didnt worked..
Ofc i puted all the eyes of ender !
Did you put them all down so they were facing inward?
Question about mooshroom.
Do I need to higher the level of mycelium ground for them to start spawning, cause I got a big surface of mycelium and none spawned while already got pigs and sheep and some little patch of grass.
Also for the end portal did you build it like that:
That's on the ground and Right Above on the stone(or whatever you used to trap the lava), it should be your end portal.
And then it should lit up after you placed all the ender eyes.

EDIT: And my next episode, with a slightly better plan, and slightly better results:
I've already recorded part 5 and it'll be up some time this weekend.
