Are you still planning on releasing Titan's Revolt by the end of Summer? Also what would you say your overall percentage of completion is with the map? Suuuuper stoked for it, good luck!
Looking for within the next month or two! I'd say individually, the map is around 80% complete, maybe a bit less.

Are you going to need anyone to beta test the map before release? Or is it going to be a straight release of the map? We would love to beta test the map.

We'll likely do an interior beta with the members, then either an open gamma or a closed gamma with a few other people. Not totally sure.
I live for CTM. Maps I've Completed: Sea of Flame II, Endless Deep, Infernal Sky II, Kaizo Caverns, Spellbound Caves, Waking Up, Inferno Mines, Black Desert II, Uncharted Terrirory I, II, and III, and Lethamyr (D). Working on: Pantheon, Septum Immoriel (Beta)
MCEdit is a big one. Some of the mappers on the project seem to use it for everything. I typically use it for just the larger stuff. Many of us use WorldEdit for the details. And honestly, you can't substitute some hands on work if you want complete control over your design.

Just want to ask what tools do you use to make these maps? Because certainly McEdit can't make all of it.
Personally, for my maps (And my area for Titan's Revolt) I use Bukkit to do all my mapping in. I have a few plugins that I run with it, VoxelSniper, WorldEdit, Ultimate Terraformers Tool Kit and NBTEditor. Really I only use MCEdit when I have to do something really big that would take more time then I'd like to spend as all the mapping I normally do is in game.

I mostly use MCEdit, with occasional switching to WorldEditWrapper (including the Terraforming Toolkit craftscripts). You can do a lot with MCEdit filters. Everything else, I do ingame; I also know enough about NBT tags that the 1.8 give command and the NBTEdit filter are sufficient for custom loot.

Mapmaker and LPer of Complete The Monument (CTM) maps.
Creator/owner of the CTM Community Mapping Server - ask about it on the CTM Community thread!
Current projects:
Thanatos - a subterranean semi-open-world urban CTM
Titan's Revolt - a collaborative project run by ProjectCTM; sequel to Pantheon
Pinnacle - a "sketch" mini-CTM intended for newer players (nearing completion!)

Probably McEdit, NBT-editors, and WE for most people. WorldPainter is a thing too ;-)
Well, _my_ area includes lava. Lava and sand. Lava, sand and... You get the idea. As for the tip: Don't die.
