What is Four to Win?
It is basically like the game Connect 4. Players take turns choosing which column to drop their block into. When one player has 4 blocks in a row, horizontally, vertically, or diagonally, they win. Okay...that sounds just like Connect 4. Except...
Two Gameplay modes:
Normal is just like playing normally. Everybody sees where the blocks are on the board.
Hidden plays just like normal, except you don't see the blocks. You must rely on your memory. When someone thinks they have "4 in a row", they'll push the button to reveal the placement. True, they win, false they lose.
Other "Features":
Instructions for play are prominently included on walls.
Automatically switches to next player's block when previous players drops block.
Has enough sand and gravel blocks that you will become bored way before running out.
A custom texture pack is included in download to make game play easier. Well, I think it does.
A "Coin Flipping" lever that you should probably ignore. But at least it works as intended now.
I was bored. So I spent more time building other things on this map than the minigame. If you can find them that is. Or have the patience... Especially for that particular one...
You will not get wet.
Versions:
1.0 - Was all originally built in 1.3.2 (or it was 1.2.5). Worked fine up to 1.5.
1.1 - Corrected odd problem that prevented it from working in 1.5.1
1.2 - No change to main game operation. Tweaked "coin-flip" yet again. Removed glass ceiling. Prevented rain from occurring for a very long time. Should now have perpetual daylight.
1.2a - Very minor alteration. And changed 1.5 texture pack to the 1.6 resource pack format.
The non-musical way then. Don't blame you. The normal musical way does take a chunk of time. Now I'm not sure you understood what I meant with the music/non-music analogy, but there is a reason I said it that way...
If anyone is using a snapshot to play this game the texture pack will not be compatible. I have made a compatible texture pack in the new format that was introduced in snapshot 13w02a. The first post has also been updated with this info.
Game has been updated to v1.1, and will work correctly in 1.5.1 now. It was very odd reason why it stopped working. Simple to fix though once I gave up trying to figure out why it was correctly wired but not working.
Also the "ignore this lever" in the previous version has been fixed. It now works as intended, though you should probably still ignore it. And lastly, the 1.5 compatible texture pack is now included in the regular download for the game.
I see why you call it the LSD World. As long as you have fun, you don't need a hobby. Having fun is just as good.
Though it is interesting that you did all of that and never found my somewhat hidden...thing, since it was never activated even once. It appears you ended up blocking over the entrance without knowing it was there.
You can activate the "thing" six times, if you can find the entrance. Then you never know, there might be something else after that...

Four to Win v1.2a Includes map and resource pack.
Really? Damn, that's, a...scary actually.
I made the textures. Though I think it as only about 8 or so blocks I changed from the default.
So you found it. Did you find it the musical way, or the non-musical way?
I'll try to keep doing that. Next month you can see if I succeed...

Why yes, yes you must.
I don't really know that much about servers, but what I've found doesn't sound too hard. This might help.
Thank you.
I should of known there was a video, since the volume of downloads from Poland jumped so dramatically all of a sudden...
Though in reality, I'm probably the last person who should rate the game, since I'm a bit too close to it.

Though since I was messing with it, I did decide to change the map slightly and it is now v1.2. The changes are shown under "Versions" in the OP.
If there is something that appears to not be working correctly, please bring it to my attention.
Also, glad you like the map.
