Yes, sorry about that door, I thought I had removed all of the critical ones. I have just updated the server to reflect the map changes I added over the weekend. The Cargo elevator area has now been added, along with the Freezer (Vulcan Raven fight) and the Sewer area (MGS from PSX). I will also be working on adding the content from the path taken in MGS4 to Rex from the changed Blast Furnace. *Not sure as of yet what I am going to do about where Rex will be located in this build.
All doors should now be open, I even went through and lifted the heavy cargo doors, to make bonus content easier to access.
Anything else seem out of place, or maybe I have forgotten something?
The Shadow Moses Extended server has been updated all the way to Rex's lair. A few other goodies have been included for the Demo as well.

I am sure there will be a few other activities. Also the server name will be changing from Shadow Moses to Shadow Moses Extended.The reason for doing this is that I have shifted to building a complete operable base based on as many resources as I can find about the fictional island of Shadow Moses.

Been playing through the map finding and fixing errors (like it looks like agot one of my floors at some point). If you find errors / accidental omissions please post them here so I can fix them.
This map was meant to be an immersive experience free to the player to explore. It has been built on purpose at a larger scale than to the Minecraft character in order to show detail while only using the default Vanilla textures. In addition to this I worked on some of the logistical omissions that were featured in the actual games.
This is, for the time being, only an online demo. I was going to offer parts as a downloadable schematic (http://www.mcschematics.com) but have had quite a bit of trouble with people reposting my work and not giving credit.

Thank you for your offer, I think I am going to need some help with this map. I would like to talk to you sometime about textures, I am unsure, do to the "off scale" nature of this map.
I would like some suggestions and perhaps help with what mods would be good for this server, from both you and the community.
Thank you Radac I shall add your helicopter to the map once more. You will also find a name plaque in front of the really great Metal Gear Rex model. Thank you for the permission to use your models, it was the Rex after all that inspired this whole build in the first place =)

Does anybody know a good bukkit mod that will make the fog go away at low levels while in survival mode or is this in the client as well?
Well, technically you can just make a flatlands maps in Singleplayer and paste the map onto that. Flatlands don't have bedrock fog.
Actually that's a pretty good idea. Hopefully I will have time to fix this after work today.

Shadow Moses Extended Minecraft server is now back online!This has become an offline adventure map.
Getting back underway on finishing up this map. Does anybody want to help me with the Bukkit mods, Textures, Mechanics and etc?
I need a way to keep creatures from spawning, unless they are triggered (Spawned using eggs thrown from dispensers). This is a major one!
Any mods that players would think could fit into this server are welcome as ideas.
Somebody also mentioned making a texture pack, I would still be interested in exploring that.
Game mechanics, I have enjoyed making the map (which I will finish) but would be willing to have help making it more playable.
