I really enjoy the TV show the "The Walking Dead" and I decided to make an adventure map based around it. Now some things I know are not accurate, but most of it I really tried to get perfect. The map goes from Hershel's house, all the way to the prison with various quests in between, that's of course if you can even stay alive....there are walkers everywhere !!
Map Features:
2-4 Players
Custom Trades
Custom Enchants

10 Custom Zombie Spawners
2 Boss Fights
Command Blocks
Storyline by Book
1- 2 Hour Game play
Keep Inventory On Death
Awesome Ending
Challenges:
1. Survive two days on the farm
2. Don't go to far off the path (or you will just plain get lost and die)
3. Help all villagers that you come across, on your way to the prison
4. Find "Ricks Journals" in order
5. Clear our the prison and make it your home.
6. Beat the final boss, (shoot his brain red wool) the warden of the prison !
7. Survive ! (It will be hard)
*Final Boss - The Warden* He is quite hard and you will get to him & his minion's and also his magic ! .... don't rush ! there is a whole adventure map ahead of you ! (After the boss and his minions die, in ORDER to proceed you need to Lob an arrow over one top of the red wool in the upper corners of the building to break a minecart witch will trigger your next path ! its tricky and you have to be in a certain spot)
Basic Rules:
1. No spawning in items
2. Stick to the story
3. Do all challenges
4. No changing time ! (pressure plates along the way do it for you)
5. No breaking blocks that you clearly are not suppose to break !
You Can:
1. Follow the story and the command prompts.
2. Use the tools you get for their purpose (as there too weak for walkers anyways)
3. Explore the grounds (as the secret item will be hidden in chests & will be in custom trades)
4. Break spawners (its encouraged, all the time ! they all should spawn right.... plus you'll get few pickaxes)
5. Mob looting (cow, chicken...pig. w.e loot it !
6. Kill all spawners and walkers map wide ! 7. Use the custom villager trades to benefit you*

Version 1.1
The first version v1.0 wasn't that playable and had a lot of things missing from it, some bugs and some issues. With my own work and some comments from you guys i have the playable version of this map now out, the updates are as follows:
-added books to checkpoints (there was no indication on what to do)
-added more spawners (added, spread out differently)
-added various signs threw out map (story line, direction at times, what to do)
-added command blocks.
-added pickaxe to farm garden chest.
-added more hidden chests
-added carrots and potatoes to garden (without then the game was pointless, you couldn't access trades)
-added surrounding to bottom of tree house (to avoid walkers from making text flood your screen)
-added spawn egg's to the dispenser I have (before it was pointless)
-added some more chest to make multiplier better
-added some more items in those chests (swords, golden carrots, tools)
-added screenshots to PMC
-updated landscape (pathway, torches)
-updated some of the spawner properties around the map (mob spawn more even, although with 1.1 i still forgot some)
-fixed the 1st cabin (closed door, turned off lights and broke random glow stone that should not have been there)
-fixed "Building E" (left side of building was all broken a bit)
-fixed Hershel lab upstairs (was a bit broken, I had a fire....lol)
-added weapons/tools (now 4 people can actually play)
-added signs (all through out map, direction)
Version 1.3
-added proper final boss battle (giant walker)
-added various items in chest to help game play (weapons, tools, food)
-added some more things to do when you get to the end
-fixed "The Hunters" spawners (removed one, turned down properties, no hyper spawning)
-fixed prison spawners properties
-fixed checkpoint bug (command blocks would work on some servers)
-fixed barn spawner properties (there were to many walkers)
-fixed the ending signs (added lights so you can see better)
-fixed the falling signs (tnt got in the way before)
-updated screenshots (the final boss)
-updated landscape (around whole map) -updated to 1.4.6

By looking at the buildings, you make an exact version of the buildings from the series! You should make more!
Farm house is missing one chimney, witch is getting added in, the barn should be 60 blocks to the left, the prison is pretty much a dead match, of course i did alter some things slightly and texture wise it is mine craft and I did my best. But yes thank you, I appreciate it ! & depending on how this does i would like to build the whole "Woobburry" town......but who knows.

I am ctually building the prison ATM, a larger less compact version. Maybe we could collaborate on another Full-Scale adventure map that takes you from the hospitol to the Woddbury battle. I have a few idears on what to do.
I am making my own adventure map and was wondering if you could tell me how you spawned the "warden" at the end. All I need to know is how you spawned him.
Hi, just a quick bug question... I died and when it spawned me it spawned me at the boss fight.. I glanced through the forum, but didn't see a fix to this, could anyone possibly help me fix this? (sorry if the question has been brought up already)
