Sooo, was mining out a spot in the victory monument island for my enchantment room. And my bedroom. Had a silly idea to make them into Fleecy Boxen. Yeah... stumbled upon something interesting.
The teleport to I4. I feel like a cheater for having found it...
Funny thing is, when i built my staircase down to where I put my enchanting table box, I missed it by one block.
I was kinda waiting for someone to report finding that out of order. I highly suggest you wait to use it until you actually reach Intersection 04. Using it out of order will result in a pretty severe and confusing sequence break. Just play as normal, and when you find the traditional entrance, feel free to use it as much as you want.
I figured. Also, rooftop skulking on Castle Avidya. Just blocked up there and took out all 6 spawners on the rooves. My reward?
A sweet hoe and Grey wool.
If I might suggest for an update to Dreadsky, movethat loot into some section in the ground of Avidya. Cause that was... too easy considering I fought 2 ghasts total to get it.
*random appearance*
So I've been playing this map on and off for quite a while, and I just finished it! Great map and I hope you continue this awesome CTM "series".
(Note this is my first time posting victory pictures, so I hope they work :P)

Well, I coulda seen that one coming. In general, it's a pretty established fact that if you deviate from the fun path set forth by the creator of the map, you're more than likely to end up sequence breaking and screwing up your experience in the map. I understand that when presented with an area, some people's first reaction is to look for any way to exploit it or otherwise break the progression. That's your choice, but it's a conscious effort you'll make that's more than likely to lower you enjoyment of that area.
As for an update, I really don't want to have to make another update for it. As it stands now, DsI is in a very solid (or at least acceptable) state with gameplay and balance. I'm not worried about unbalancing it by updating, but it's more of the "don't fix what's not broke" mentality.
@the guy above me, great job! I'll add you to the OP victory pictures list soon. Glad you enjoyed.

Yeah. Got confused with the castle from Legendary I think. Anyway, for me, I don't exploit it. I think of it like a puzzle. Step 1: search the outside of the puzzle for anything that may cause issues as I push my way in. Spawners for example. Step 2: Find any points for advantage (MC loot and any possible entrances). Step 3: Head in. I have yet to assault Avalon, but I plan to. Business first, then I can have myself some "fun."
You see, if I DO end up making an update, I want to add more than just a few small additions. There's Armpit of the World to fix (I found out recently that the reasons the spawners weren't working was because of an issue with me using Kamyu's tools in a certain way and it'd take too long to explain blah), and I'd probably also want to increase the difficulty of Shardveil Cove again.
But I promise if I do end up making another update, I'll definitely add ender chests.

Well that's a pretty roundabout and unconventional way of doing things, but if it's how you have the most fun, I won't stop you.
Unconventional is one of my hundred or so middle names! As for Shardveil Cove, a difficulty increase would be a must. Because tunneling or not, that first legendary bow, forgot the name, one shots Ghasts. If nothing else, maybe custom data the Ghasts with a tad more health. If you want a true difficulty ramp, more ghast spawners, in the air, under the sea, actually, no. Just replace all stone with Ghast spawners. Difficulty properly calculated.
Okay, so for those who don't read the CTM Community frequently (probably most of the people reading this), I've got an unfortunate announcement to make.
This Friday, my computer unexpectedly turned off, and since then I have not been able to get it to boot back up. I've figured out the problem (hopefully), and I'm going to try and get it to a computer repair shop soon, as I'm unable to fix it myself. That means, until further notice, development of Dreadsky Depths is currently on hold. I have reason to believe my hard drive is safe, so all of my work on it should still be there, but right now I can't access it. I'll post an update at the top of my OP about this, and I'll also let you know when things change.
On a much lighter note, I noticed a pretty big increase in downloads recently (an unexplained increase at that,) and decided to do a quick youtube search. Found this:

This is going to sound crazy, but my computer died on Friday as well O.O.
At least I know what the prob is and can get mine back up.
Good luck with your computer trouble Drago!

They linked Vechs' thread in the description, you might wanna let them know...
Also, a little announcement: Dreadsky Isles has reached 2000 downloads! Thanks to everyone who has downloaded the map so far, I really appreciate your support. Having my map chosen by YAW has definitely given a big boost to the download rate, and while downloads aren't he most important thing in a mapmaker's career, they are still very encouraging!
Thanks, and congratulations. Shall I still take some time (it takes a while to upload that many screenies) to make a detailed progress report, or shall I just continnue with the intersection 2 areas? I like making my progress reports, I just didn't feel like spending half an hour on it tonight.
Feel free to do whatever you'd like. I'm fine with you not posting insanely long strings of screenies, as I've pretty much seen almost all there is to see in the map, but if you come across something unusual or funny or whatever, I'd definitely like to see it.
I just fell into the void in Everdark Atlas and lost everything ever.
Halp?
Hehehehe. :3 Can't wait to see that episode. Also, this kinda serves as a fair punishment for playing through most of AotW on peaceful...
I suggest you make some basic iron armor (prot 1) and try and run through the part you've already conquered, as it sounds like you made it to the fleecybox but no further.
From there, it really depends on what all you've done up to this point. If you didn't take out all the spawners on the first three levels, try farming some diamonds from levels one and three. If you have taken them out but haven't reached the fleecybox, make getting there your primary goal. If you have gotten there, just follow the instructions and you're good. :3
Also, I put that hint about taking breaks there for a reason.

Wait, have you played my map? If so, you haven't said anything about it... :/
Or did you just watch Rock play the whole thing? :/
