At this point, version 1.2 is sufficient enough that any future updates won`t matter. I`ve made all the changes I need. I``m starting my second map, as you can see in the forum post

Yep, the enchanted jungle. The place with all the tall trees that you can see from near the spawn. If you were to look left, you'd see the jungle. If you looked right, you'd see the place with the monument and the library.

The Endstone Dungeon was the hardest I found so far. I died running out of the "Creeps" room and had to rush back with my backup Diamond Armor to grab the 4 Monument Pieces I had on me.
doing good so far. something for your mob spawners tho: you may want to mcedit in fully charged spawners because as it is, you can take out like 75% of em without them ever spawning something. also i got the black wool as my 3rd wool, wasnt bad at all, however, leaving the black wool place seems to be because it has crashed like 5 times on me. on the 6th attempt it didnt and now I can see ladders raining on me. I guess a ghast hit something you did with ladders higher up? upon closer investigation... what the **** are the ladders in the ceiling for? the only thing I know is that they do crash minecraft because its too many updating at once. but they dont even seem to have any purpose at all? or maybe im just not seeing any purpose because the crashing makes it so that only a very small area of ladders breaks off
... and I only found the fire resistance potions after being done with the area T.T
Yeah the purpose of them was to try and fix the phantom skylight glitch. Someone told me to put ladders in the world to fix the light levels. I'll be updating to a quick 1.3 to fix that error. It didn't fix the phantom skylight and was a terrible mistake. I hope you can get the world fixed, possibly remove drops in mcedit around that area! I'm really sorry!

Quick question: Are you supposed to take the egg from the dragon or find it in a chest?

And it might be a little hard to tell at this point, but compared to Safe Haven, how hard is Uncharted Mines going to be?
My plan is to make this one MUCH more difficult, involving more small circuits, more hidden areas to RE visit (as in, you'll go places, but go back to them because places loop around) Also, it's called Uncharted Mines for a reason. My plan is to possibly have a few rooms that look similar, and none of the places have names. Another also, I'm thinking of making a giant room for the monument room, with a center piece that branches off in several directions to each monument (Having smaller ones together). As I typed this I just thought of the BEST idea for the room. OMG hahaha, thank you indirectly! ;D

Actually I can just load up minecraft again and continue playing. Its not even the entity count that makes it crash, its really just 200 or so, apparantly its the fact that so many illegal blocks update at once. the error states its a stackoverflow which I havent seen minecraft produce ever before.
Also very very very cool map design, the time spent on it really shows. Especially like how you dont pester the player with silver ****ers.

Difficulty Used: Easy (laugh if you will, but I'm not the best at CTMs) Total Deaths: 3 (all from fall damage, one from a tree in the jungle and two from clouds) Last Research Note Found: 17 (actually found it early on, but it was the last one to go in the chest) Last Monument Block Found: Light Gray Wool (this one was the last one I got, however the Dragon Egg was the last one to go on the monument) Favorite Area: Black Depths (just the sense of danger and the general atmosphere was great) Least Favorite Area: The End (didn't think there was a dragon, so I came completely unprepared. Bow broke early on, and I didn't have the resources to make another, so I had to use a combination of pillaring, water, and enderpearls to reach some of the crystals. Then I had to kill the dragon with only my sword. Took half an hour.)
Final Thoughts: I loved every second of this map. The massive scale of it all was just great, the stacked fire resistance splash potions are the best thing since sliced bread, and the progression was very well done. Another thing I liked was the fact that even though there's a lot of monument pieces to be found, they were placed very well. Unlike some maps where a few of the pieces are in very hard to find places, I felt like none of the pieces here were difficult to find, and I was able to find all of them without any help. Although I've only completed 4 CTM maps, this is by far my favorite. I look forward to the next map!
Something just occurred to me, what if Uncharted Mines (or some other future map) is intersection-styled, with one monument piece per area? Kind of like Legendary? If my math is correct, that would be 14 intersections... Oh god.
The Green wool, the fleecy box in the treetops. Is the cavern entrance in the enchanted jungle obvious, or is it buried under leaves or something like that? I just can't seem to find it. Sorry, I'm just a bit clueless sometimes.
