There MIGHT be a beta release before 1.3, with everything included except for main notes, which might take a few aspects from the main storyline and horror out. Other than that, official release date will be after 1.3, when all mods get updated for that version, wich should be like 2 weeks after update.

And i just wanted to say that with the whole lantern thing, there is the Dynamic Lights mod (allows carrying of glowstone, torches etc) to give off light.
So you could possibly try and use that, and reskin one of the things to look like the lantern? Or if possible create your own lantern item and give it the same properties.
But again thats why adventurecraft would be good, that and the lantern in adventure craft requires collection of oil
I tried that mod, however, i think i will not use for map, because it is infinite, so it would make the map easier, also, map already gives you an amount of torches, and especially, the lag the mod provides will make the map not able to be played at low-end PC's. And I dont want that.
Do you know of any other mod I could use to make map much better?

Today i only managed to fix some little bugs and finally finished the art/paintings of the map, they took me A LOT but they are finally done, and they add a horror feeling to the map/castle.
As always, please post at thread as a sign of feedback and use the map signature.

Today added a lot of awesome features, however, still testing them, fixed a couple of bugs and finally fixed a huge bug related with soundtracks and map ambience, now works very well.
Since i finally got rid of all these problems, tomorrow i'll start with the Choir.
As always, please show support and use map signature.

Choir entrance is done, same with Choir Main Hall, pretty creepy and full of brutes
Chancel main structure is also done, just need to build the 3 little rooms at each side.
Im working on Cells right now, which are taking A LOT more than what I expected :S, looking how to implement the part with the shadow following you and the part at Chancel where gatherers take you to the cells, pretty tricky and hard to make on minecraft :s, but i'll get through it.

Well the shadow i dont know... But the cells could be built beneath the Chancel...? That way you could pressure plate some pistons to push you into them, or set a trip wire (coming in 1.3) which when tripped does the same thing (trip-wires are quite harder to see)
