Hey, so one of the challenges in Insane mode is called the rings. Why would you not call it the Nine Rings of Hell. To me that seems much more fitting. Also, when is SMP version expected to come out?

you know its not hard to make a minecraft for FTB... heck all the mods and config files are in 3 downloads and all you have to do atm is put in modloader and forge ...

i have done FTB insane 3 times (its awesome), but i accidently deleted the wrong .minecraft so now have to get the mods again. But when i click the link to media fire and then click download, media fire just refreshes for some reason is there a problem with media fire or what?
As someone state, be carefull, advanced machines need to be "installed" correctly.
Also check its changelog, be extracarefull if you send more power than permited to this machines, you can lost your mfse/mfe.
But 1 question, the map is the same?? can we update mods or save will be damaged??
Interesting. Just started, finally, the Insanity version. Which means I have to deal with bees. >.< I started to build platforms to encompass the different biomes, so that each set of apiaries will be in a proper biome for the bee being bred. I am finding the biomes aren't uniform in size. The desert one is really long and very narrow, while the ice plains one is massive, as is the tropics biome. I find it strange, but, eh... Anyone have a mapping of the biomes? I know the biomes were all deliberately laid out just so we could have all the needed biomes really close.
Also if I grow a jungle tree will that get me the vines I need for the tropical bees? I know breeding the desert bees will have to wait until I can build a mass fab and use the cactus uu recipe, kinda figured that out from the rewards table and the fact there is no cactus in it. >.<
Now I'm concerned about something else. I think the next challenge for me is the Gated Logic room. I haven't used Logistics Pipes before so this part is new to me. I'm looking at all the requirements and then I see 64 Mk5 Logistics Chassi pipes. One of these babies requires 37 diamonds and 36 gold ingots. And I've got to make 64 of them? Huh?

One of the reasons I said "Bugger this!" and installed the Advanced Machines Original. It is as the original mod author intended it to be, not nerfed to uselessness. I had no issues getting it installed and the Beast accepted them happily when I played the FTB SSP V4 map. And they take MV, not LV, and don't need friggen Overclockers. I see it as installing a patch, it fixes an issue, and allows me enjoy playing the map.
About the beealyzer, you must build it in the carpenter. Carpenter receipes dont show in NEI (yet). Also remember you need water in the carpenter, each receipe need a different number of water buckets. beealyzer need 5.
Thanks. But if this is in reply to me I was asking about the Analyzer, not the Beealyzer. The Wiki doesn't say it is a Carpenter recipe, but for kicks I tried it and no go there either.
Going to take a quick look at the mod pack with regards to Advanced Machines. Ill upload it fresh if i make an amendment. (btw for those wondering, i understand that you can change out the included version of advanced machines for the original one. On a sigle player map if you wish to do that, I would say it is OK, but for SMP purposes, the version we use will be the way we go. The cost to use the speed of machines is the price you pay for the speed in my view.
Optifine and the new ForgeModLoader issues should be resolved very quickly I would have thought.
Playing Insanity, why are there so many beehives? Every beehive gives a princess and at least one drone. It seems like I should need to break only about 10 from each biome in order to breed every possible thing I should need.
cant get it to work :/ i did as it said in istall instructions and when i start minecraft it says (updating minecraft done loading) and nothing happens pls help
Sorry for the language but I am extremely upset right now. The reward system isn't very understandable but I assumed you put the items into the transposer. After two and a half hours i was done the first challenge so i put the items into the transposer and the door didn't open up. So, in an attempt to fix it i ended up breaking the map and accidentally deleting the world and all my progress. So if anyone has a solution please reply and slowpoke, **** you for not having a straightforward way of the reward system, which is obviously not done correctly.
