Ok, what is the difference between the FTB version of Forestry and the Regular one? Cause the FTB version says 1.4.4.5 and I believe only 1.4.4.4 is out for the regular.
breeding tweaks and the Omega bee line. Would be rather broken for a normal SSP map.
sorry if this question has been answered, but is it possible to to 'butcher' the SSP version with the mods needed to to allow 2 people on it at once? me and my friend really wanna give this a go but we were gonna do it co-op style as a practice run.
the reason I ask is that the portal gun mod isnt smp (i think, looking at the thread it makes no mention of smp), and this beast is a very well put together machine where missing mods would just break it
The one word answer: no
they're using logistics pipes pieces and BC3 gates in there, both of which are SSP only right now.
I cant place engines [Forestry and the BC ones] in the position i want. And the best part: BC2 Wrench doesnt rotates the Engines T-T
Now im in a cluster ._.
I have an Automatized EMC farm [even though it is the basic ones XD], a mob tower, about 30.000 EMC, and i dont want to do it all again :\
Do someone know how to fix this? :\
@Edit:
The position is the same. BC ones are facing the sky, and the Forestry ones are facing West D:

if you put a wooden conductive pipe and the side u want the engines to face then use the BC wrench on it will turn to face the pipe.
Edit: Be carefull, wrench & screwdriver are diferent items.
Edit 2: BC Machines orientation doesnt matter, sides, up down. For engines, place the machine, then use wrench to change orientation. You cant change it if there is no machine other that the pointing one (if there is one).
There is one Machine [Automatic Crafting table to craft furnaces! xD] and i have 2 redstone engines with me. I placed the machine first, then those 2 engines. But it always is pointed to the Sky, and the BC Wrench isnt changing the direction of the Engines :\
rlly they wait for that? i guess the map makers are gay as hell by letting ppl wait for the map
Don't be trash talking the creators. they will get it done when the mods update and the map is done. Would you like to be playin the map and when you put items in they go into lava? and lose all your progress? no i dont think so. SO FLIPPIN WAIT JERK

I tried it with a normal Wooden Pipe, and also didnt work
I'm gonna try it here.
@Edit
Also didnt work this way :/
Ty all for helping :3
Hmmm Can I ask an question, what engines are you using?
Forestry engines needs the forestry wrench, tho I can't remeber witch one of the two bronce wrenches you need.
BC engines needs the black wrench to be turned.
I just wanted to tell you this, I kinda had the same problem and destroyed a few IC2 parts :-D.
----------------
I also made an BIG n00b mistake, I put down an IC2 mazerator on a glass fiber cable with 512 energy in it, I must remember to turn
the volume down next time I play, I fell off my chair when the mazerator exploded he he he my best fail at FTB map ever.

Im new to BC, so i did that epic mistake u.u
Well, i was using the Redstone Engine. Ive just changed it from Redstone Engine to Peat-fire Engine [When u have a peat "farm", you may want to use the Peat Fire Engine, it works as well as Steam, but, IMO, its kinda better ^^]

Newbie tips: [@Edit: I named it as "Basic", but i think it should be NEWBIE Tips, because with the first tip, it would be better using a condenser. Without a condenser, this would be the better option, imo]
1) Make a Cobblestone Generator (Skyblock style), a Timer, a Redstone Engine, Wooden and Stone Transport Pipes, some Brass Ingot [Made from 3 coppers and 1 tin in the Alloy Furnace] to make some Pneumatic Tubes, Automatic Crafting Table and a Block Breaker.
Place the Block Breaker on a side of the Timer.
Set the timer in about 0.500.
Behind the Block breaker, put some Pneumatic Tubes (to transport the cobblestones into a chest);
Put a Wooden transport pipe and a redstone engine on the side of it to output cobblestones from the chest;
Using the Stone Transport pipes, connect the wooden transport pipes into a Automatic Crafting Table (with a Furnace design);
Then, put a Wooden transport pipe and a redstone engine on the side of it to output furnaces from the Automatic Crafting Table into a Chest;
Then, each stack of Furnaces is worth 512 EMC.
It's kinda slow, i know. But it may help you;
2) Another tip i can give you is killing Zombie Pigmans in the nether. Each Golden Nugget is worth about 227 EMC, and a gold is worth 2048. By luck, you may get a golden helmet/sword ^^
3) You should make a Fall mob-trap. It WILL, with 100% assurance if you done it correctly, help you. A full stack of bones is worth more than a diamond

Why convert your cobble up to furnaces? You don't gain any emc (8 cobble = 1 furnace = 8 emc; 8 * 64/stack = 512 emc = 512 cobble) Why not just feed it into a condenser?

Mining with your sis might be fun, but in the future use a pickaxe.It's more efficient and humane that way.

Also, .5 seconds for the timer is pointless for the blockbreakers. Cobble regenerates every 1.5 seconds. So, the timer is going 3 times faster then it needs to.
And I did set up a cobblegen system that generated 64 cobble per 1.5 seconds, out of pure boredom and nothing else to add to the map. A MK3 Relay and a Condenser have a hard time keeping up with it.
And he also says to make it into furnaces to condense them to save space. But it would be much more simple and easy to feed into a condenser if its only mining 1 block at a time.

But i didnt got it for now ^^
Maybe within an hour i get the Condenser :3
Anyway, im doing it because it "compacts" cobblestone. For every 8 stacks of cobble, you'll get a stack of Furnace ^^
I think it can help when you dont have space enough ^^
Me and my friend used this tip and gathered about 12k EMC until now
Even though building and setting up a Mob Grinder is about 10 times better... ^^

Automatic Crafting Table doesnt? o_o
Whoah... I'm gonna try out using logistic pipes [first time with it... x_x]
@Edit
Im so retarded @_@
I didnt realize that i was trying to apply Mechanical power into the Automatic Crafting Table.
When i discovered it i lol'd XD
TY all for helping me!
