The cooling fan in my graphics card just came loose & started making ridiculously loud noises. I quickly took it out 'cause I'm pretty sure if I keep it running for too long, it'll break out of it's axle.
The sucky part being, without that card, I can't run Minecraft since the built-in card doesn't support opengl. So I have to choose between my pc's well being or this contest.

I'm no expert but...what's stopping you from buying a new card, or a replacement fan?
If you can't, does mcedit still work? Maybe you could finish your entry that way.
Erm, no... I tend not to PM people much. Plus it's already posted here, and I don't know what else would go into a PM that I haven't already said.
Also I checked just now, and in fact I had not set the license to creative commons (because if I had it would just be crying out for someone to do something like this.) But it wasn't and I have NEVER used it even accidentally.

Don't worry. I know you made it. This reminds me of the time someone stole my trailer for the "lava dungeon survival" map I made a while ago.
They haven't contacted me either way to try to submit it so no problem :smile.gif:
I know it's not much, but I have been watching your videos for a while now and I have always wanted to make something in minecraft. I just am not very good at making things. So this is a hidden items/challenge map. Tips are going to well appreciated.

I'm glad that the hiccups solved on their own & I furiously worked on my entry afterwards.
I succeeded in completing my entry & submitting it before time. I even updated the entry to make it better as per Jig's feedback :biggrin.gif:
Here is an Alpha Playthrough of my entry with some post-commentary. BTW, in case you missed it, the map's called Motel CTL.
It's not released publicly but depending on the feedback I receive, I may release this as a standalone custom Adventure Map :smile.gif:

Okay, Looks like Jig totally forgot to update this thread. So I'll do an informal one just to inform any future viewers.
He's done with the judging & selected the winner. You can see ALL the final entries & their scoring in this video.
Jig also compiled all the 80 entries together into a single map. Minecraft's FIRST Community Built Adventure Map : The Adventure Multiplex
