Version 0.3.5 OUT !
Okay so I finally finished this version, which doesn't add much, but fixes a lot, and will make your game experience a lot smoother and more pleasant.
- The second dungeon (the Prison) is easier and clearer. A map has been added, as well as a teleporter to better navigate the dungeon, and an easier final boss.
- I also added a new sidequest, that is kind of important.
- I revisited many dialogues.
It was a lot of work, even if it does not appear so, but it was worth it because you can now play this game without any problem !
If you find any other bugs (sig) that I didn't find, please report it on the thread.
NEXT : the fourth version. It will be big and will have lots of contents. I will keep you updated regularly now that this version is out !

Here's an other side of the mountain ranges as a bump!
Almost finished it, it's kind of labourious so I can't wait to go on with more interesting stuff to build.
If you have any feedbacks on the version that just went out, dont hesitate! Comments are really appreciated and encouraging to me. It shows interest, and it gives me lots of stamina

Just finished carving the landforms of the city with my bare hands once again !
Computer generated landforms wouldn't have done it since this is really specific. Besides, i think taking the time to carve all of this, and taking care of every little areas adds some warth to the scenery. What do you think ?
Note that all of this was completely, absolutely and utterly flat before.
Okay now I just have to finish one thing about the landscapes (you can see it's unfinished on the last picture) and then I can go on to building the actual city ! The funniest part ! Yeay !

Thanks a lot! I'll continue to do a lot of updates (without spoiling anything of course) I think it'll take a good amount of time to finish... I'm up for a few months of building, scripting, etc...
So I just finished beating the latest version (0.3.5) and I'm thoroughly impressed. The sheer amount of effort and detail that went into what is essentially an unfinished map is insane. The prison area alone is completely fleshed out and blew me away with the level design, atmosphere, and mechanics.
You've managed to craft a world that is full of so much detail and is so lively while also having humor and a sense of silliness. I especially love the fact that though it has inspiration from Zelda, it's nothing like a Zelda clone, but is it's own unique game. Even while playing it I kept thinking to myself that I had to leave you a review praising you for your hard work. I vaguely remember playing this map back when AdventureCraft was still popular so some sections were familiar but it was still a great experience.
You said that you went back and fixed all the bugs and I can see you truly did. I only encountered one bug, it was with the Weird Man (the one who says you need bombs). For some reason nothing happened when I payed him a silver coin and then after a minute or so the camera would show a room that I assume was a mini-game he let you play. But I'm honestly surprised this is the only bug I encountered given how complex the map is so far. I look forward to future updates and keep up the hard work!

Thank you so much for all of these feedbacks ! This kind of comments is really important to me, since it gives me an idea on how the player experienced the whole map, and it allows me to better understand what i should correct, and what i should keep doing. Also thank you for saying there was no bug (except for the one with the weird man, that keeps happening even though I've done everything to correct it... GAAAAH), I was wondering if I had succeeded in making this version bugfree, and it appears so !
Honestly it makes me so happy you liked my level design of the prison, and that you enjoyed so much the game as a whole. It makes me want to make this map even more ! Feels nice to have this kind of appreciation every now and then
Really epic to hear that you're back after about 5 years! Back there when i played this mapis was too hard for me and I nearly hated it,because I didn't understand it xD
But today I can play it without being a young kiddy, which doesn't understand even one sentence, so I'm really looking forward to your upcoming Updates! Thanks for coming back dude
You're very welcome, thank you for posting this ! Seems like old AC makers/players are waking up in this thread

I'm going faster than I thought with the building of the city. For the moment I think I did 50% of the buildings... The city is not that big (although i think it is a least 5 time bigger than RCIST town), but I'm alone and I like to take time with each area.

Wow. this map looks cool!

Those mountains look like they took forever to build o-o
They did....
Building these mountains is so duuuuuuuull... But I'm almost done! Phew!
jojo's bizarre adventure xddddd
Okay I finally finished the mountains !
Here are the different steps of the last mountain
It starts with squares.
Then you round it up, and build the general shape.
Round it up more.
Then you make the landforms.
Then you make it 3D, so the shades looks good to the eye (don't mind the sudden apparition of the building )
Here ya go! Bye bye the mountains! Now I'm building the city!
Yeah I thought about it as well, but it's just the protagonists that share the same name, nothing to do with the manga xD

Okay, finished the landscapes, now making the roads and the general layout of the city (as to where to put each buildings, etc...)
Is a very, very epic map. Thanks to create this map
This kind of comments makes me happy, thanks a lot

Great to see some of the old map creators doing AC again! Looking forward to your next version!
