I was doing great, had like 2 stacks of cobble, expanded my island pretty far, got my wheat farm running,
Then the snow came.
At first I was like, yay snoow! now I can farm snow and build my house out of snow blocks!
Then I noticed, where the fk are all my saplings and wheat?
Turns out snow blocks override them, basically if you dont keep a block above your sapling while it's snowing you lose it.
No saplings = no wood = complete screwedness
damn you snow :sad.gif:

Listen out for a 'fapfapfapfap' sound. If you are below them, then you will sometimes see slime dripping through the blocks.
sigh any1 mind telling me how to add this to my saves and for it to work i know go to%appdata% then romaing / minecraft but idk do i just put the zip in there or do i what im so lost i got it to my single player once but i just spawned in a whole and died
You can build downwards by letting some lava flow downwards, removing the lava source block and quickly replacing it with water and you should have small pillar of cobble extending below. Now just build cobble under the dirt before removing it. :biggrin.gif:
I'm making a video of this.
Really? I jumped off my island and placed a block under it before dying...
WOOHOO
Awesome map!
Suggestions: Provide some redstone, gravel, and an iron so we can make a portal. (There is a glitch that turns redstone dust into obsidian without using up the lava). Then you can build another island floating in the nether for a part 2.
Enough to make a sticky piston so we can duplicate sand and gravel XD.
Perhaps web instead of string (breaking web with sword provides string) in the chest.
It was fun building a slime farm, shame its useless right now.
Deceptively clever challenge! Been playing it for quite a few hours now, failed a whole bunch of times. xD Created obsidian twice, fallen off with essential items twice (damn bucket), dug away all my grass once, and got unlucky with saplings twice.
Going well this time around though so far!

The most wonderful thing about science is that it doesn't ask for your faith, it asks for your eyes. The universe doesn't care about what you believe.
Well :wink.gif:.. i downloaded it like 3 hours ago :wink.gif:.. and after having to restart like 10 times i finally made a huge island :wink.gif:.. and.. my question is.. where do i get coal?..
Thats awkward, I could of sworn I posted 20 challenges. Well I added in a challenge then for #10, Make 40 stone brick's. Thank you so much for the heads up!

Rainbow Dash is Mah Laz0r. Your Argument Is Invalid.
You'd probably starve before you'd be able to kill a skelly.

It's my cobble generator 1.3 (the first two caught on fire, this one is finally cobblestone)
With this generator working I can finally build a house and expand the island. I can't wait.
This island is really.. precarious.
Also, I've never appreciated big trees more.
<3
...Good idea.
Make multiple copies of your save folder as you go

No coal. Smelt some wood logs to make charcoal.
Awesome though!
