Hello all and welcome to my first Adventure Map. (Part 2 of it anyway)
I have tried to look at some other maps to get ideas while I have gone along, as well as watch some play through videos to see reactions to the way that designers' creations are taken and treated by players. (eg. using little txt docs for in game notes instead of 20 signs)
The Story so far:
You have made your way through Platoria only to find its capital city empty. Following the notes of an unknown stranger, you venture under the city hoping to find survivors.
Rules
- You may not place or destroy blocks unless otherwise advised. (This excludes items given to you such as ladders, switches and redstone)
- You may not extinguish fire unless otherwise advised.
- You may ONLY burn white wool (No other colour unless specified in game)
- It is requested that you play on anything but Peaceful to ensure a more enjoyable game.
- Please do not use any mods/hacks etc. to manipulate the game.
- Crafting is strictly forbidden unless otherwise advised in game
- Although Possible, please minimize exploration to ensure that the adventure feels real and uncontrolled.
- Look around each section, as some areas will prevent you from returning to further search for chests and
treasure. If it looks important... Grab It!
- You may not take items that are mounted on the wall unless they are dismounted by an in-game event
- There are enough supplies for a multiplayer game to take place.
- If possible to do so, Please turn off animals as they spawn around fire and die, causing massive loot drops!
Although strict, these rules are to try to better the experience of the map. Breaking the rules will not hurt my feelings, but ruin that experience. The choice is yours.
Difficulty Rating of Puzzles
Number 1 was fairly easy, I hope that this is more of a challenge for many players. I recommend saving often as some puzzles are likely to kill you the first and/or second time around.

Hi i'm playing through now and i was wondering if that in the lava spirit room all the sand has to drop which makes the lava fall. if thats the case it did not work only the sand covering the door dropped. just letting you know. I thought all had to drop so i hit the floating sand to make the lava fall. It was close but i made it. fun so far, when i finish i'll leave a full critic. <3 <3 <3 <3
an easy fix would be to erasing the bottom two layers. At least i think it should work.
That was fun. I am liking this series. except for the lava spirit room which i mentioned above, the rooms all worked, I might have missed the 'read note 5' sign but i did not see it. I liked the ping on the big doors it was a good addition. I liked all the puzzles except the first lava room it was more annoying then fun. the dropping sand mazes are impressive. I cant wait until you do the next one maybe i can test it or be an idea bouncer, of course i will take no credit.

The room where heaps and heaps of sand falls knocking the lava down? You only knock 1 block (gravel) and the entire thing should fall causing 1 sand to fall on each post making them 1 higher each. It didnt fail any time I tried it, I will retry and if it fails will revise the initial blocks location.

"Read Note 5" needs to be moved, either that or the actual switch for the next door, I had suspicions that a lot of people would miss it. I will revise that immediately.
The first lava room was meant to be annoying, every game you play there is a lava jump room, Hell even part 1 had one. They are tooooo easy. Spiders simply turn it into a fun, fast and freaking scary puzzle. (At least for me)
All people who give me ideas will receive credit in some form, I believe its an important thing to do.
- Decreased difficulty of Spider/Lava room ever so slightly
- Fixed: Lava Sprint Room [Error: Not all sand was dropping as a result of the first broken block]
- Corrected Location of Note 5 ans its local switch.
DONT READ THE TEXT IN THE SPOILER IF YOU DONT HAVE FINISHED THIS PART! IT MIGHT EXPOSE SOMETHING!
Im confused. After I have done both labyrints and I climb up the ladder I come to the ground and there it is a big wall by stone slabs. There is a hole there so I enter there and follow the path. I come to a house (Rebel Cetre its written on the signt over the entrance) and inside that I have to jump down into a cave. And walking in the cave its a sign where is written: Condemned Mine. And inside there it`s only some few mob spawners. What now?

The Sign before it Said thanks for playing, the mine will be the next level (thats why its blocked off, more of a teaser).
Somehow I think I need to make that clearer, The fact that you need to run from the TNT kinda makes it hard to stop and read that first sign.
Thank you for playing, and bringing this to my attention!
That clears it all. After that TNT thing I saw a sign on the wall but I just ran past it because i had to get away from the explosion. And the explosion took the sign :sad.gif:
(I was like going around to find a solution for like 2 hours -.-)

Not much, still drawing up designs for the mines, I also want a tribute to the YogCave, but need to find a copy of the map from their first series! I am also going to be looking for ideas from the community of cool traps (I want to expand on the sand maze to make a multi room, multi level maze, making it more complex!
lol sorry i wasn't been able to make a playtrough for a while it was because i was busy with school (im in asia) but anyways im back to make the playtrough :biggrin.gif:
