Lol, it's k XD
I thought that you had lost interest in this project, but apparently you didn't! XD I haven't been able to update this in a LOOOOOONG time because an ungodly amount of homework was unleased on me =P but i have finished most of it and with the upcoming easter break i can really get things rolling again! =D
Today, i worked on getting the cutscene when your sister shouts your name and climbs up the watchtower to wake you up JUUUUST right ;D it still needs a bit of work but i should get an update out in a little while, although i kinda wanna wait until i finish most of the story stuff before i release and update =P anyways, g2g to sleep, see you later!
Aww man, I seem to have lost interest in this project, I have been a bit to busy watching a Let's Play[Commentated Playthrough] of another game. I am sorry, but now that I got a break, I must do it. Because at the end of the week, I am going to Spain. So I will, seriously, see what I can do right now.

Lol, so have i =P
But people have told me that it is actually a very common thing, which is why there are so many dead threads. But i find that i never want to start working on this again, but when i do, i start to have fun. so for me it's more like a chore to get myself to start, not so much to work once i've already started =P Ah well, i still have to do it XD
Pretty nice map you got there. If I recall correctly, don't you have your shield in the Forsaken Fortress? Don't you get the shield from Grandma's house before you leave on the ship? Just a suggestion. Wind Waker was definitely one of my favorite Zelda games. First one I finished, actually.
Epic stuff you have going on here! I wish i could help, but i don't have MineCraft, and Mom won't let me have it, if i had MineCraft then i would be a full time bug tester for you, using the items to see if they work after an update, try to break the game, prancing around while in cutscenes, get a diamond sword and try to attack Tetra in a cutscene to see if a bug could be found, it would be truly epic to do all that, but i still don't have MineCraft, and might never will

lol, i would have finished it if not for tingle... you know what i mean =P
but anyways, this map is actually very early in development so i have not really set up the storyline for it yet, so you can currently go do whatever, whenever you want (excluding some places like orca's house and the pirate ship) so you can go in the forest right away. You actually are not even able to get the shield so far but in about 2 updates, it should have the storyline nice and ready, which will have the bird falling down, you getting the shield, meeting tetra, sailing ect... =D

Nice to hear that you like it so far! i haven't been able to get much work on this map recently but i will try my best as it's very early in development =D
Hey guys, got another video up showing what i have so far with the intro. The reason the camera very slowly walks from your sister to the watchtower is because that is supposed to be you going into firstperson from your sister's point of view, it is still very early but it will have the whole cutscene, it is not anywhere near done, maybe 1/2 done if I'm lucky.
Hey! First of all i loved wind waker and the pic looks amazing. I am downloading the demo but i realized it would be a waste if i dont hav adventurecraft! so i was hoping that you could kinda put up a tutorial on how to install the mod, because i hav no idea how to install mods!!! Thanx and the map looks great again!!!

I'll be sure to upload a video but i will do it later as adventurecraft is actually not updated to minecraft 1.5 Also, adventurecraft runs seperatly from your minecraft so you don't need to worry about corruption or using modloader. for Installation, all you do is download adventurecraft, and run just 1 .exe file! it takes about 5 seconds but people are STILL sometimes having trouble installing it even though it doesn't need any extracting, deleting, or using unfamiliar programs such as modloader, and because if this i WILL be making an installation video for adventurecraft when it gets updated! currently i am still using my outdated minecraft, version 1.4_01 as i NEVER update my minecraft untill all of the mods i use have been updated, or i sometimes make a backup. anyways, expect the video a day or two after adventurecraft updates!
Whats your method of building this beauty? I was looking at the great sea map ingame yesterday and I was thinking, that it would be pretty efficient to make a 7x7 grid of water segments each being 30x30 (or something like that) and then building all 49 island in each square. It would be evenly spaced and you would have your construction already planned out.
I know that you're already half way to being finished, but I thought Id just share that little realization.

yeah I've been thinking about that too, and I've decided that each square will be 140x140 blocks. Currently, outset island is around 175 blocks long and 90 blocks wide, as i think that i should make the squares be 140x so that the main islands will cut a little bit into other squares but those other squares will usually have small islands such as fairy islands so it won't really be a big deal. This means that the whole world will be a minimum of 980 blocks in lenght and width. This probably won't cause a lag issue for most computers, probably not for laptops either, as the world that outset island is currently on is actually around 850-900 blocks. So if you have downloaded this map and tried it out, with minimal lag, then you shouldn't get too much lag even when I'm finished, as it will only be another 100 blocks. i actually got a nice little pic of my map in MCEdit. it shows my little island, and shows exactly how big my world is (how much terrain has been generated) and i also have a box around my world that is exactly 1000x1000 blocks wide, just for a reference.
