Apparently dinnerbone was in a video with mindcrack, and he said there was plans for a new nether ore.
Yeah, that was mentioned a few times. It will have something to do with the new redstone machines. You probably won't be able to make them without the new ore.
So don't put any overpowered loot in a hidden chest!
Wait... if we put loot in a chest, and you use the randomizer, will it delete our loot?
So will that terraforming thing work with SinglePlayerConsole?

EDIT EDIT: Okay, maybe it doesn't. I just didn't have rhino installed. Fwapaderp

No. Kamyu's chest randomizer only messes with empty chests.
Oh, cool.

Hey Vechs!
You need to update your LP section with some more videos from your new maps.
Maybe find some for the hall of shame
I think it takes too much work to update the videos. Besides, Curse completely destroyed the video section. It would take a lot of work to fix the layout every time Curse decides to change it.

I don't think he meant make the videos themselves work, just adding the links would be enough.

why are you people acting like you've played BD2, it's not out yet nor is a beta out yet. (none to my knowledge anyway) So stop acting like you know everything and wait for the map to actually come out.
THANK YOU. This makes Worldedit so much better for mapmakers. No wonder the areas in your map looked so "dope" (as the kids say). Any tips you can offer right off the bat?
Tips?... hmm. Just learn how to use all of the tools in the toolkit I linked, and use them every 5 seconds or so. The areas you make aren't guaranteed to look cool, but you're guaranteed to have fun.

I think the 5 seconds is exaggerated, MCedit is also used for large-scale projects.
Hmm, this leads me to think about a... Community question
For mappers, which program do you use more MCedit or SPC with the additional scripts.

Every bloody CTM map series boasts that it's bigger, longer, and harder than other CTM series. It's almost as if it's a **** measuring contest. (bigger, longer, harder...)
I switched to peaceful at the very start, when I died in the 1st dungeon.
Many times I tried to get my stuff back, but I repeatedly died.
So I could continue to have fun on the map, because I was near rage, I switched to peaceful to get my stuff back.
Never else in the map, whether it was an ill fated attempt to use vines in blackened library,
or dying in black heart citadel when trying to conquer the little tower at the start,
did I go to peaceful.
I had fun while playing the rest of the map. The first area wasn't fun to play because it was so hard.
I tunneled to the VM on accident (I hit the VM itself instead of going in IS1 for the VM), and
when going back to centiole of the apprentice to get the white wool, I got through easily with my actual gear
I feel justified putting this photo up:
Sigh... Maybe now that you know how to get all the wools, you'll do the map without switching to peaceful?
Here's a tip for the beginning. As soon as the map starts, grab all the loot, grab the wood, and go into that little cave. Spend the night in there. Break the spider spawners. Secure that room. Then go from there.

I presume he means all of them.
"These maps" on the Super Hostile thread, after all.
Yeah it's when people say "this map" is when problems arise.

I don't use MCEdit or SPC. I use WorldEdit without SPC.

I'll make a better information picture at some point.
