(Also, why does your cloth/wool become cobblestone? Since when are sheep covered in cobblestone?)
I'll release it since you asked for it. No one else has expressed an interest, so I was in no hurry.
I've been planning to tweak it a bit more before release, but the holidays have gotten in the way. I'll tidy it up, replant the crops to try to get them in sequence wait for dawn and save it out. I can always update it later. Should be able to get it up later tonight.
As for the wool becoming slate flagstone, I use wool for flooring almost exclusively. I used to use it as "science blocks" in my lab to build redstone devices out of, but then there was the great fire of 2010. Since then I've only used it for floors. I like the sound and soft squishyness underfoot. Making it look like slate made all my rooms come alive with color, depth and really improved them a lot. I can suspend my disbelief enough to accept the sheep dropping it until Notch releases some more standard blocks. NOTCH! RELEASE MORE STANDARD BLOCKS!
But with the coming wool coloring upgrade I'll likely back out of this uneasy arrangement with the sheep and return it to a wool texture in the next release.
Here is version 1.0 of the texture pack test track map. Inventory is a bit of a mess and there are no mushrooms, still water and a few other omissions, but I'm going to go ahead and release it as is and update it when I have time to finish it up.
I'll be updateing this map to include all the new Cake release ( 1.2 ) blocks as soon as I have Sanguine updated and released. How the hell I'm going to do that is a complete mystery to me at this point as there are so many new blocks.
Should happen next week barring another ridiculous influx of paying work.
I'm almost done updating the TPTT for 1.2.02. Does anyone know how I can cause a specific type of tree to spawn? I could just place leaves but that won't show the new birch and pine needles.

Right now variable tree spawning isnt available, only spawning regular old trees are all that works. But here's some diamond for making this

Here's a funny for you though since the update Copper. I loaded it to test textures, and a spider climbed the walls an killed me from behind (where before they were blocked and I mocked them)

"This may hurt a little, but it's something you'll get used to...."
Your efforts are appreciated! Now I dont have to make my own Test Layout thingy which saves a lot of time (now i just need a mob mod to be able to test their textures correctly)
For new blocks you should maybe just make a sort of new "room" that connects to your main one, it's impossible to keep every block in one screen shot (or at least it will be with new block updates) so you might just wanna keep adding rooms as needed
Please note that the image in the OP is updated ( automagically ) to reflect the PENDING v2 update tot the TPTT. I'll get the updated map up shortly. It has sandstone walls to vaoid the spiders Gestankfaust!
Sorry for the misleading pic, it always points to my latest run of Sanguine on the TPTT and I updated that earlier today.

HA! Good stuff Copper. I started makin my own before seeing this. Has a room underground for ores and stuff you'd normally see there and one above for the rest. Now I don't have to finish it as well as the one million and two other things I got goin.
Again...thanx for the time and effort

Well it's been almost 3 weeks... Are you still going to release the next version?
Damn. I totally spaced this.
I just took a new position and have not been putting much time into all my Minecrafty endeavors lately. I'll clean up the inventory and refill the chests and upload it tomorrow Sunday the 13th.

Thanks for reminding me Koolwitak!
Yup.. I was waitng for the update too. Hope you get it done soon
Are you still going to release the new version, because i really want this. This map is very usefull! And I always use it when I install a texture pack.
Yes. I apologize for the delay. I promised to release it last Sunday, but events conspired against me and I've had little time to get things done lately beyond work and sleep.
This weekend I'm wide open. I'll make sure that I get this uploaded.
As a bonus for all the delays this upload will be the updated version 2 AND a brand new v.3 design that's more compact and can be viewed a lot closer. Version 3 doesn't have lava or water in place yet. I'll upload regardless, but I'll try to set those up first.
Open the image in a new window for the full rez version.
Here is the download link. 12 MB. I need to trim this map.
version 4
*Was there a forum rollback at some point? I know I fixed this link once before. Weird.*
This was my position on the TPTT for the image above.
It would be really useful

Since they were awesome sheep.

I have no idea! I simply zipped up the save. I'll look into it.
