I am now helping Ben build the city.

I have not even looked at this forum thread until he linked it to me a few hours ago and asked if I wanted to help. My only former experience with the project is him mentioning it to me in passing back in November. I had even forgotten Ben was working on it.

Yeah. Im looking into getting this rigged up inside a private server on my own machine (Right now Teh_Uberness does that for me)

Ill probably have that all done by this weekend, and then Ill see about getting an actual team of builders.

What I need to do before that happens though is:
-finish importing the non schematic buildings Ive been sent
-set up a network
-set up the private server

Once thats all done, Ill see about an update.

Team of builders sound awesome. But you should set a few ground rules for them, like

Double thickness on walls and floors, to allow for different effet on both sides of the wall :tongue.gif:

Oh there will be rules alright. Many of them.

hell, the application process alone will involve fingerprints, retinal scans, a blood oath, and a social security number.

if this map gets greifed I will be most upset.

Wait, up this week? wow. i just came here and looks like this is the perfect time to read it so i don't die of excitement. But the only prob would be if someone like me is using mo creatures and more creeps. but i hope you make it zombie only. zombie pigmen in houses because there friendly but darn scary! But please NO SKELETONS! they would ruin the experience of a ZOMBIE survival. im not a fan of zombie games with someone shooting at you. (Dead rising 2) Hey, what about getting some support from modders! They could give a mod called something like: Special infected mod. And it would be supported to mo creatures and more creeps. so most ppl can get this mod without having to un-install there mods, well must common mods. But in the end this would rack up to be a big expansion pack including: 1 new map, 1 new texture pack and 1 new mod! The special infected mod could have creatures like: Small, weak but fast zombies. Gigantic, powerful, block destroying but slow zombies. And hunter zombies witch can climb walls like a spider. THAT, would be EPIC! I guess its too much to ask for but its just a gamers dream. ZOMBIES! AAAAAAAAHHHH!

Bad news everyone.

I had intended the beta release for next week, but I spent a fair amount of this weekend sick, so I didnt get anything done, which means that I am no longer on schedule to release the beta.

So Im postponing it another week.

I will now try and have it in a releasable state by Apr. 9. Sorry for the delay...again.

It's not pointless, though, There's a little thing down there that says "Minecraft Username: (name here)" And if you put the wrong one people will call you a pirate, or you can't put one because you ARE a pirate. Either way there's no point in using a "fake" Minecraft ID. And smart people don't use forum names to check, they use the "Minecraft Username" thing below their posts.

Edit: And Now that I used your actual Forum name, I see you are not a pirate.

I don't see the point of trying to call people out for being pirates, why search their name in the first place? it's none of their business
