Hey JediNikola! Instead of making a lot of already made tutorials you should try something new!
Try this:
Custom Mushroom (Can't get this to work :I)
How to check if player is inside a house.
How to check if player has armor on.
Hi,
I will be moving on to some stuff that not a lot of other people did so far,but even for those people need to know how to make a basic item and block
"Custom Mushroom (Can't get this to work :I)"-Will try and do a tutorial for that
"How to check if player is inside a house.
How to check if player has armor on."-Not sure what you mean by that.A block that does that?Or a command?
To check if a position is within a cube you need to know the XYZ values of the start and end of the cube.
if the player position.X is larger than the minX value of the cube and greater than the maxX value of the cube and the same for the Y, Z values respectively then he is within the bounds.
I am curious how to get textures working without dropping them in your minecraft jar. I have seen it done but every tutorial I follow still returns an error that the textures aren't present. Any advice?
Nevermind, there was a code error in one tutorial that I was able to fix by crossreferencing another tutorial. Keep up the good work!
Thanks but I mean with roof over the players head :-)
And how is that any harder?
Just check if the area around the player forms a "house" as defined by whatever definitions you like.
By using world.getBlock(x,y,z).blockID to get the ID of blocks at a specific location.
Then iterate over the blocks within the perimiter and decide if they make up a "house" or not.
If they do, then return true.
Can you show how to make a tool? Or if you can just tell me how to fix the texture for a tool? I made a custom pickaxe and The textures dont work. I also dont know where I would put the code on your pastebin.
