Just wondering if someone could show me how to get it so that your iron doors don't always have one open and one closed.
This is my current setup:

=doorway
=Iron Doors
=lever
=redstone on ground
When I flip the lever and both doors are closed, only one opens. Then from there the doors proceed to flip-flop back and forth whenever I hit the lever. HALP?
I tried that, but it still just opens one if both are closed. Then it goes right back to flip-flopping. It's not the wiring thats the problem, its the doors themselves. I have just switched to one door right now, but IMO double doors look much better.

The wires will link to each other and not the door.
Have the wire run under the wall the doors are in from each side, so they connect to the square the door sits on.

Here's one:
Lot's more setups to choose from though.
