So, I would like to build a gaming computer, but for a budget of ~500$. I need some build suggestions and please include a video card, I won't have integrated graphics. Also please add an OS. If you are wondering what i would play on it, mostly steam games, Skyrim, Gmod, and of course minecraft.
Also i live in the USA. Yah.

On a more serious note... peripherals :3 lol @OP
-Decent build ^ @Fireingpower
And then everything will be better in the world once more... unless you want 32gb of RAM oneday.... lol yeah go with a 7850 quite a boost of perf.

Sandy and Ivy Bridge Pentiums are actually good for low end dedicated GPU builds. They fit right between AMD's APUs and an FX4300+HD7850 combination.
And shame on you for recommending the 4100.
What so bad about the FX-4100 it is a quad core after all
